This was a wonderful “cottage“ feel cabin. Beautifully appointed, well equipped with air-conditioning, heating, television, and a coffee maker. Quiet little neighborhood where perhaps the most rewarding experience was getting to know the alpacas in the backyard. We can’t wait to return.

Loved the animals and fire pit. Ranch cottage has a warm cozy atmosphere inside. It was nice this place made it to where we could travel with our dogs as well! We definitely enjoyed our time there!

The Birthday Getway

We loved the cozy cottage it was exactly what we where looking for.This morning we got to enjoy feeding the alpacas before leaving I would highly recommend this cozy little place

Very clean and well-supplied. The alpacas and chickens were mostly quiet and they were very well behaved. It is easy to find and was convenient to places we worked and places we wanted to explore. We would definitely stay there again.

Charming Cottage on the Coast

What a lovely little gem this cottage is! Comfy and well stocked; there were even snacks, wine and fresh eggs in the refrigerator when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again!

Cottage was perfect 2 night stay for wife and I. Very clean and cozy, Llamas and Chickens outside entry door relatively peaceful. Complimentary eggs, wine and bottled water with equipped kitchen. Good central location for day tripping.

Cozy and quaint with charming decor. A great central location. Close to a variety of restaurants. Rivers Edge Grill and Bar at the casino was really good as was, Double D's. Close to Humboldt Botanical Gardens and Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge. Quiet neighborhood. Relaxing deck, beautiful flowers too. Friendly neighbors. Overall, a great little place, especially if you love chickens, ducks, deer and friendly Alpacas. My only real concern was, there was no fenced in area for our little dogs. It was hard to take them off the leashes because the property is right off the road, but after a while, they stayed with us. The overall place was clean, considering it was pet friendly. A nice choice. If you go, make sure you visit Rohner Park nearby; great trails in the Redwoods.

Secluded and Charming

This was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. It’s off the “beaten path” so-to-speak, and it was very cozy and welcoming. Waking up to the alpacas and chickens was a real treat, and the fresh eggs were amazing! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a homey, relaxing getaway.

Heat Escape

We left a heatwave and came here for a couple days. It was very comfortable and everything we needed in the kitchen was available. The farmhouse vibe sharing space with the llamas and chickens was extra special.

Very cute llamas across the fence as well as chickens and geese. Easy to get to on the north end of Fortuna and very close to 101. Quiet neighborhood.

Seeing the redwoods

Great, quiet getaway. Fun to talk to the alpacas and watch the chickens and ducks. Short drive to the redwoods. Owner was very responsive via text when we needed something.

Perfect stop!

Cute little cottage with everything needed for a short stay. Kids had lots of fun seeing the chickens and feeding the alpacas. Campfire kit was perfect. Very short drive from the highway yet feels like it is super secluded. Kids are asking to go back again already. Thanks!

Cozy quiet cottage

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at that ranch cottage. My son especially enjoyed the alpacas and that may have been his favorite part of our whole vacation! Pam was very helpful and kind and the cottage was clean with every thing we needed, even extras! We will be back next time we come through!

Perfect charming cottage

The cottage Was perfect. Everything you need they have there, including the alpacas, the chickens, the roosters the ducks. Location is great for going up and hiking in the redwoods or to the beach or visiting the little towns around. It was the only place we found that would take a cat and we are grateful for that. You can’t go wrong renting this cabin.

The cottage is clean, cozy and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The yard and immediate surroundings are not as neat and pretty but overall ok. The deck is furnished and there is a firepit with a starting supply of wood. We didn't use it but it still was a nice touch for those who would. We loved the alpacas and chickens right in the back yard. It's not just everywhere that comes with those amenities. Lol
