“An old-fashioned hotel in an old building but there's nothing wrong with that - it has character, unlike a lot of modern anodyne ones. Service was exceptional: accommodating and friendly. It is located dead in the centre of the old town and is ideally placed for exploring it (and for staggering back from the pubs!). It also has a well regarded Thai restaurant on the ground floor, so no need to go far if you don't want to. There is free parking at the back. I would certainly stay again if I was...

“Single room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi. Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer.”

“Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. ”
