Cozy cabin in the woods

  • Charming post and beam rustic built cabin with modern amenities. Located in the middle of the pere Marquette forest. Cabin sleeps 6, has 2 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths. Located in a very secluded area for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. Just 7 miles north west of Evart mi. Overlooks a bluff. This property is on a dirt road. We own 100 acres at the cabin site for you to explore, plus tons of side roads seasonal roads and state land for exploring. Located 3 miles from the Evart Motorsports trail. A short drive on a dirt road gets you to the Evart trails to enjoy your ORV, side by side, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. We have a nice outdoor fire pit, for you to have a bonfire. A really nice secluded cabin for your getaway. We welcome pets but there is a $25 pet fee, and we ask you please clean up their hair before you leave. Cabin was selected by mlive as one of the top cabins in Michigan.

Excellent property nestled in the Michigan woods. Easy access and well maintained. Host had us totally prepared and ready to enter and use the cabin before we arrived. Better than expected and will use the property again.

The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. The jacuzzi tub was a wonderful bonus and the host was helpful and accommodating in regards to our trip. Highly recommend the cabin and host!

This cozy cabin in the woods is exactly what we needed to melt away the stress of our busy lives. It's a roomy, quiet place on a hundred acres with a relaxing Jacuzzi tub and a warm fireplace for the cooler, romantic evenings. The owner had the air conditioning operational and the place was clean and well equipped. We stopped in at the local grocery store before we arrived and never left. Absolutely HIGHLY RECOMMEND this secluded cabin in the woods.

Very pet friendly. Peaceful, wooded area. Enjoyed the pinball machine, juke box, and pellet stove. Clean, relaxing place to stay. Loved it!

This secret hideaway is perfect! Remote and relaxing. Games, jukebox and pinball machine were tons of fun and were perfect for a night without tv or phones. John, the host, was fantastic. Would highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay! The tub, pwllet stove, pinball and jukebox were huge hits, as well as access to trails out the back door. 10/10 would stay again

Nice cabin in the woods, overall pretty clean, cozy living room and comfortable beds. The pellet stove was nice to have since our summer vacation was more like a fall vacation weather-wise. Nice trail to enjoy the woods and explore the property. Some areas were a bit overgrown but that happens. Kitchen and breakfast nook were nice. Note to future renters, Strawberry Lake is just down the road but it is NOT open to the public. We had brought kayaks and were planning on exploring it but it is a private association lake. Only additional thing I would’ve really enjoyed at the house would be if the back porch was covered. Looks like it could possibly be a future add on but it would’ve been nice to be able to sit on the deck when the weather was rainy. Overall nice place. We would stay again and appreciate the opportunity to stay here with our family and dog. Thank you!
