“Staff very friendly and helpful, and bar and restaurant area pleasant, cozy and welcoming.
The rooms are pretty basic and could do with some minor maintenance, but are clean and tidy, and good value for money.
A good choice of breakfast items, and we had two evening meals which were great. Our waiter Sam was especially friendly and helpful.
There is plenty of free parking”

“Lovely place and rooms were great.
Some of staff didn’t know how to check us in
It’s a pub, and luckily we had booked for food… the pub was very food dominated and wouldn’t have felt comfortable just drinking… food was good and place lovely though”

“We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which had everything a family could need for brief stops inbetween visiting the surrounding area (including a baby chair and a crib available on request). The only thing was that a radiator made some strange noises now and then (even when switched off).”

“Stora rum men väldigt ofräscht och smutsigt rum. Det luktade mögel i hela rummet och badrumet var väldigt nedgången. Sängen var dock väldigt skön. Frukosten var inget märkvärdigt men helt ok för att vara UK. Men tyvärr så förstörde lukten och att det var så smutsigt hela upplevelsen”

Very nice countryside hotel convenient located close to East Midlands Airport. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is family like. The restaurant serves real good food and having a cool beer or a whiskey in front of the fireplace afterwards is magic. I sincerely recommend this place.
