Vi fick ett rum i bakre änden av hotellet med utsikt över parkeringen. Fint rum men trist utsikt och lååååång promenad till rummet och dessutom nödvändigt att ta trappor mellan våningar då hissen inte anslöt till alla plan. Maten dyr och inte alls prisvärd. Frukost bra, nypressad juice och goda valmöjligheter

The hotel was in an impressive location with many of its bedrooms and its public rooms benefiting from views of Falmouth harbour and the sea beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food available in the dining room was impressive, and the portions generous.

The Greenbank is in a really nice location just on the edge of town and the harbour. My room was very nice, perfectly clean (apart from the shower which could have been a little better) and had a very comfortable bed. Every single staff member was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. And finally the food was lovely. Thank you, see you again soon..

The reception staff were brilliant. Warm and purposeful. Welcoming. Interested in us as visitors. Process of signing in was easy and car parking made simple. A bottle of fizz in our room as a goodwill token to celebrate our silver wedding was a most pleasant and heart warming surprise. Just a detail, but big moments are made up of those little details. The room was spacious with a phenomenal view across the harbour. It was generously supplied with a range of coffees and teas, and drinking chocolate! Biscuits and water replenished daily. A working fridge. Tv and great free Wi-Fi. Bathroom was immaculate and supplied with copious amounts of towels, plus bathrobes and ‘slippers’ us both. Staff around the hotel were always friendly and helpful. A special dinner was just that…special. Great food. Good choice of wines. Formal dining with harbour views as a backdrop. Downstairs ‘pub’ was just great. All in all a highly enjoyable three day break. Yes the Greenbank in some aspects shows its age, but never in the key aspects of comfort and care, so we didn’t care. The highlights for us above all were the people who looked after us. Brilliant. Our second visit will surely see a third sometime in the future.

Lovely hotel, stylish, good service in bar and restaurant. The only issue we had was with the quality of the room cleaning service, as on one of the days the soiled toilet was left as is, and on another day the two flannels were replaced with an extra bath mat… We would have gladly cleaned up after ourselves if a toilet brush had been provided. My husband had to use tissue to clean the bowl by hand, which is not at all ideal, so the one thing that would have made it perfect would have been a toilet brush! However apart from this we had a lovely stay, great room with the most beautiful view. Thanks for having us.

We were looking for a short break away from the rat race and Greenbank fitted the bill admirably. We had a harbour-view room which was very well appointed and provided plenty to look at despite the weather.

The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. The views of the bay offer endless visual entertainment. The food was outstanding, especially the Valentines menu.

Had wonderful night stay and excellent food , great service lovely atmosphere Little disappointed in the door key didn’t work several times having to walk back from end of the hotel hotel porter managed to get us to our room apart from that great reception and warm welcome- Food was very good and would definitely recommend eating here Only grip is the parking on the roads if spaces are full check before leaving bit of dangerous road outside

Lovely hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a highlight. Pub Food is good. Burger especially juicy and tasty and much juicier and tastier than the wagyu burger in the Waterside restaurant. Will definitely stay again

dirty hallways
The description of the hotel was better than the actual facility. The hallways were dirty. we could hear the people talking in the room next to us at night. At the pub, one of the waiters spent more time laughing with his buddies than helping other customers. Nice staff in the restaurant. room was very tiny and the stairs the bathroom are a bit of a hazard.

We have, thankfully seen an extremely busy season and it has proved problematic to carry out our regular deep cleaning as expected. Please be assured, we have an ongoing decorating schedule. As you can imagine, with the hotel dating from 1640 there is always plenty of work to ensure that our characterful heritage can be maintained and enjoyed by our guests. Whilst I'm delighted our restaurant team impressed, I apologise that service was lacking in our pub. I'll be sure to address your feedback with our pub manager. Our stay at the Greenbank Hotel was just what we needed. Our room was cosy and warm, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous and within walking distance of the town. We will definitely stay here again.

We werre greeted at reception with a friendly member of staff. The room was amazing and clean, beautiful harbour view , food very tasty and well presented and all the staff were very attentive. Very relaxing day.

Beautiful Stay!
We had an amazing stay for my boyfriend’s birthday, we were upgraded room which overlooked the water 😍 and a bottle on ice on arrival! Lovely stay with our dog, very well catered for including a doggie welcome box!

The property is centrally located with a beautiful setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was missing was an exercise room.
