Amazing little hotel, our room had stunning costal views. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. Peaceful night sleep followed by a great breakfast.

A little gem
Booked an over night stay so that we could drop our daughter at uni. Very helpfully they take coupons (converted from TESCO rewards). A little further out from Falmouth than we anticipated but well worth the extra 10 minutes. The décor, cleanliness and friendliness were outstanding. The breakfast fabulous. It's a quiet hotel and you had to ring the bell for service (it's a family run concern and everything appears to be "in house" as they were doing various jobs around the hotel) but we never waited long to be attended to. In the morning (we arrived quite late) we realised what a fabulous location it is in. We will be back and cannot recommend this little gem of a place highly enough.

This property is positioned brilliantly for access to Maenporth, Bream Cove, Famouth and Mawnan Smith. The rooms felt like bedrooms rather than a hotel, and the space was clean, tidy and quiet. Breakfast orders are taken the night before and the buffet elements were ready and waiting for us on the table at our chosen time, with the hot food and drinks delivered afterwards. A perfect stay with a laid back family feel and incredibly polite staff. Will definitely be back again for our next visit to the area. X

A great spot to unwind
Just a 2 night stay visiting family. This is a family run hotel where they care about their property. All the hotel, guest rooms and public rooms are spotless, welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast choice and quality were excellent.

Nice enough hotel, cosy room, very small bathroom. 9-30 on a Saturday night the bar is completely closed no staff to get a bottle of water. We were asked at breakfast about housekeeping for that day, we asked for more t-bags and milk and they were tied in a plastic bag to the door handle of our room! No clean mugs provided and the dish left for used t-bags was still there leaving us no option but to throw them in the bin. We didn’t realise that we would have to ask for everything to be done in housekeeping

We loved this little spot up the hill from a National Heritage trail overlooking the English Channel. Wonderfully friendly staff and great food. Be aware that the roads are very narrow and you are better off walking down to the beach via the footpath that we didn’t find until the way back up.

So enjoyed our stay at Trelawne!! Beautiful property with lovely views out to the ocean and the delightful farm next door. Well appointed and comfortable room. Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. Comes highly recommended!!

Wonderful short stay
Although it was a short stay we had a lovely time in this gorgeous hotel. The rooms were immaculate and the staff so helpful. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and we had both an evening meal and breakfast, would highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Super hotel, great breakfast!
Super hotel with a great breakfast, nice bar and helpful staff. We had Room 21, up on the second floor - a great big room with a fantastic view over the bay.

Stayed here for 1 night and the room was clean with crisp white linen. Staff all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as it should be.various choices, timely and delicious. Would definitely stay here again. It is a 7 min drive out of Falmouth but very easy and straightforward to get to.

A beautiful place to relax and unwind.
Room was amazing with super views out to sea and the coastline. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back and recommending this lovely little gem to our family and friends. 10 out of 10 all round.

Only stayed for 1 night as visiting Falmouth University with my daughter. Check in very fast. Lovely clean, warm and spacious family room. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of food options and all served fresh and hot, staff very friendly.

You can always judge a place by breakfast
We stayed here for a single night - we were cooking birthday meals for someone else (very locally) so it was really a working trip. However, we felt very relaxed from the word go because of the very warm welcome from the lady on reception (Sharon? - apologies if wrong). Next day's breakfast was superb (friendly staff, again) and although we were cautious about the idea of pre-booking the contents, found that having it freshly cooked worked much better than eating the intermittently renewed flaccid bacon and congealed eggs concept that you often get in buffets at other hotels. The quantities were generous, the room and view lovely. We'll definitely book to come back again...and no, we're not related in any way to the hotel (I'm always dubious about rave reviews!!) and would strongly recommend it.

A little gem.
This is a family owned and family run hotel. They understand that happy guests mean more business. The hotel throughout is spotless. Our room was amply big enough for 2 wrinklies and our grandson. Big plus, a power shower, which while over the bath had separate control. We all enjoyed our breakfasts served in a lovely dining room with views across the bay. The position and setting is great. Can't find anything that we would change. Thank you.

Good place to stay but not eat.
Hotel was very clean and tidy bathroom although dated was clean with decent water pressure on shower, Couple of points you have to choose your breakfast the night before I did this however wasn’t given what was ticked while the breakfast that I received was good the evening meal was bland and awful I sent the first steak back as it was pure gristle in fairness they replaced it but we’re in able on both accounts to produce a rare or pink steak. Seating in the dining room felt like a class system as you had to sit in the number that corresponds to your room, it was empty and I would’ve liked a window seat but wasn’t allowed. I had a Diet Coke which was served in the smallest glass I’ve ever seen I may be mistaken but it certainly didn’t seem like the standard serving you get in other restaurants as a result I wouldn’t recommend eating or drinking here but everything else was great

What a fabulous place, a real gem. Staff friendly and helpful, but discreet. I guess the only thing I would say that maybe the car park lights could be turned off at night as room rather light. But everything else was excellent
