Room was compact but ok
Clean & warm -visited in December
Safe didn’t work which may have been batteries but was an overnight stay so not a big issue
Found bfast strange -started with fruit juice, cereal, toast & croissants -the latter usually served after full English. I found a hair in my scrambled egg which I’d eaten & had to remove from my mouth -not pleasant. Girl serving who was doubling as a receptionist didn’t apologise which I thought odd & asked me to put on a plate so she could show kitchen. I couldn’t eat rest of breakfast & didn’t have time to reorder even though she asked if could get me anything else. She did apologise later as we checked out. I did say not what I expected as kitchen workers wear hats -she said the chef was bald. I know these things happen unfortunately.
Think bfast could do with being served at 08.00
We arrived on Sunday at 16.00 -3 places in Wickham served food but only one open at this time.
The soundproofing in the room did not prevent noise from next room
Would I stay again -yes -not sure I’d have breakfast though
