“I saw someone else write a review that said it was weird the curtains didn't go all the way down in the window area and they were right, which was a bit odd... Also the doors to the rooms are HEAVY! You can hear them slamming in the night while trying to sleep and it's no one's fault, they just automatically slam due to their weight. “The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Mold in the corners of the shower was off-putting. Staff was ok, not overly friendly or engaging”

“Easy check in, good price, clean room, nice lobby with a bar on site if you would like a drink. Very friendly and attentive staff and a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. Pool was great and gym is small but has everything you would need to get in a good workout to start your day .”

“Hotel that allows smoking says it all”

“Wifi out of order…”

“Our family has been using American Inn in Branford, CT as a rest stop to visit my wife's mother in New Hampshire. It is a short trip (under 2 hours) to get a head start out of the New York metro area after evening rush hour. All rooms are accessed from the outside right in front of your parking space. They have two queen beds and rooms are always clean... and the price is right 😉 It is perfect for our trip!”
