âThe room was clean. No carpet, which is a plus. Paint and walls were good. It's a nice Motel 6 in the city center. Nice refrigerator and microwave. HBO on the TV, plus many channels. Cool sports bar ("Penalties") with excellent nachos, across the street. Cinema in very close walking distance. We were there six days. It was very quiet. The parking lot was full most nights, if that's any indication. â
âGave us a dirty room. Not usual for this hotel. Probably understaffed like the rest of the world that counts. Had to dust here and there to put things down, things on the carpet just ignored... Other than that same as I've stayed at 30 or so times.â

âHotel itself is ok, very dated and needs new working gym equipment. The area is sketchy with so many unhoused people in very close proximity to the hotel! It gives the impression of being unsafe. â

âThe room is very clean, nice and comfy. There is also a small kitchen which is very convenient to heat up food. It had everything we needed. Staff is very friendly.â
âEverything from check in to check out was better than I expected. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient, the room was spacious, quiet, and very clean. The smart TV was nice sized and easy to use, coffee and breakfast was great, â
âOne of the best hotels for meeting our expectations of responsiveness of staff, safety, cleanliness, light levels, big frig and parking. I recommend but not fancy just nice.â
âPossibly the only hotel in that area where you can have a really good meal on top of having a good and clean room.
The gym is fine and options for snacks or better are good too.
This is a good hotel - happy to come back if work puts me in Portland againâ

"Booked a room that was stated wheelchair accessible bathroom on hotels.com, this was not the case at all when we arrived at the hotel. We managed to borrow a shower chair which was good. But not a comfortable stay for me as a wheelchair user. Nothing was done by the hotel to help this situation.
Our other big thing is that we booked the hotel in particular because it had a pool (for our two kids). The pool was closed for maintenance and opened an hour before checkout. We didnât have time to use it. No information about this long closure until we arrived at the hotel.
Breakfast included but it lacked in quality and taste. Nobody in the family liked it.
Not enough towels in the room even though it was booked for a family of four. We had to get those ourselves.
Expensive parking. We were informed it was going to be $ 52 but it turned out to be $ 62. I guess itâs because the our car is oversized. Still faulty information though.
If all this is Hyatt we wonât be staying again. We put time into making an informed decision and are very disappointed about the outcome, the hotel isnât cheap either. There are plenty of hotels, especially in a larger city."
