âKingrand hotel had a bumpy start and didn't immediately live up to it's great rating. We arrived around lunchtime and ordered food to our room while we freshened up. The food came promptly but was rather cold and when we returned eight hours later the dishes were still there even though we've left the 'please clean'-button on (not something you want in Beijing during the summer heat). The next day at breakfast they turned us away saying our breakfast was not included and we had to pay for it...

âMycket nöjd med hotellet som lĂ„g i ett lugnt omrĂ„de med nĂ€rhet till bra restauranger, parker och Ă€ven en supermarket. Service och standard pĂ„ hotellet var mycket bra och prisvĂ€rt. SĂ€ngarna jĂ€ttesköna. Lite lĂ„ngt till tunnelbannan, men samtidigt kan man se det som en skön promenad.â
âHotellet var mycket centralt belĂ€get.Vi kunde promenera till Förbjudna staden och det var gott om restauranger och shopping runt hörnet. Litet , otroligt charmigt hotell med lugnt lĂ€ge.VĂ„rt rum var ett eget litet hus inne bland trĂ€d o blomkrukor. VĂ€ldigt fĂ„ av personalen kunde engelska. AlltsĂ„ svĂ„rt att kommunicera ,men de var alla mycket artiga och hjĂ€lpsamma. Bor gĂ€rna dĂ€r nĂ€sta gĂ„ng som jag Ă„ker till Beijingâ
âBra hotell med bra frukost. Blev uppgraderad till ett större rum, sĂ„ det var ett plus.Trevlig personal som kunde engelska skapligt. Minus att det bara fanns wifi i foajen, som hade nĂ„gra fĂ„ sittplatser. TyvĂ€rr rökte flera pĂ„ sina rum, sĂ„ det luktade rök i korridoren. MĂ„nga restauranger i omrĂ„det Wangfujing. Endast 5 min promenad till tunnelbanan, lĂ€tt att ta sig överallt med den.â

âNice and clean Hotel!
The only - is that it is pretty far away from the subway ( 15min walk ) but you have buss stop pretty much just outside, so it's not a big deal.. â

There was some annoying xiaomi air purifier thing thatâs literally my only critique, in that I had to stop it making random noises and lights during the night. I wouldnât stay if you arenât into this traditional housing though, remember itâs not a high rise hotel itâs like a little...

"Good Hotel in Center. Easy to reach by AirportExpress/Subway. Nice and friendly staff,mainly good English. Rooms are a little older but in good and clean condition. Our room on 13th floor had a nice view and the beds were comfortable with a more soft matrass. Breakfast Buffet was fresh and had plenty of choice.
They helped us with booking of a private driver to the Great Wall and cost was cheaper than on the main online sites. Also helped us registrate for Tiananmen, as it has to be done the day before. All in all, we were satisfied."
