Martha's Cottage

Truly charming from top to bottom, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage has plenty to offer for that perfect vacation, any time of year.

Nestled on a private lot overlooking Lake Michigan, this is the ideal location to relax and indulge in the peace and quiet of Southwest Michigan’s lakeshore area.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the huge glass-enclosed porch which provides amazing views of Lake Michigan during all four seasons.

Located in the small community of Glenn, Martha's Cottage is located 15 minutes away from Saugatuck/Douglas, South Haven, and downtown Fennville. From local farms with fresh produce to boutiques full of unique treasures to fine and casual dining, there is something for everyone only a short distance away. 

Whether you are grilling on the deck while the kids play Frisbee in the yard, relaxing on the sand while the clouds float by, or sipping a cold glass of lemonade while watching the sunset on the swing, you will never forget the time you spent at Martha’s Cottage.

Please Note:

This home does not have a washer or dryer. There is a laundromat in town.
There are approximately 100 steps down to Lake Michigan. Beach conditions change daily. Due to high water levels, there is less beach than usual. The beach is very rocky in this stretch of the lakeshore. We have fun looking for fossils in the rocks!
Cell phone coverage is not the best right on Lake Michigan. The best spot for reception is in the upstairs bathroom - really! There is a landline phone at the cottage that can make local calls and receive long-distance calls.
This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If you flush other items, such as feminine products, it will cause a sewage backup into the showers. Please only flush toilet paper.
This home receives water via a well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.

The property was amazing and we were able to really relax and enjoy our family time. the house was perfect for our weekend and the whole family wants to use this property again!!!

Amazing view

Cottage was clean, cute with creaky stairs to second floor. Fire pit and sunsets were amazing. Large, green backyard. Negatives: having to check in at a realty company 15 minutes from property rather than having a door code. Property does not provide basics like bath soap, Kleenex shampoo For the price we paid you would think that they would provide that on site along with enough coffee and a few bottles of water, Kitchen was stocked with pots pans, etc. but no spices other than salt and pepper. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. It is 94 steps down to the beach at the beach was nice and clean.

Martha’s Cottage on Lk Michigan

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this somewhat remote cottage overlooking Lk Michigan. Sunsets were lovely and the fire pit provided a great seating area. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Communication with Mill Pond Realty was so easy. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Martha’s Cottage for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Amazing weekend

Martha's Cottage was everything we hoped for. Lovely house. Clean and roomy. Nice big back yard with firepit and benches. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan and private beach. Didnt see a sole. Neighbors of the property were friendly. Will head back again next year!!!
