    The Space:

    Escape to this beautiful, waterfront Fenwick Island home offering three levels of comfort and space perfect for the whole family! On the top floor, you'll find a well-equipped, full, island kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a dual oven), a dining table with seating, a living area with a TV for streaming your favorite channels, and one of two balconies overlooking the canal. On the middle level, there's a sunlit table with bench seating that's great for rainy day games or laptops for remote work or schooling as well as a second balcony. Accessing all three levels is a breeze for guests with limited mobility thanks to the convenient elevator. And outside, feel free to dock your boat in the adjacent waterway and fire up the gas grill to add a little something special to your home-cooked menu. THINGS TO KNOW Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. An outdoor shower is available at the back of the house. While the dock is available to guests, the boat lift and boat are off-limits and under camera surveillance. The kayaks in the pictures are not available for guest use. This home is pet friendly, but please remember to clean up after your pet and treat the home as you would your own. If your pet has an accident or causes any damage, you can report it to us as the damage waiver cost is already paid and will cover it. Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. Great home and location

We had a great long weekend stay at this wonderful home. Our family enjoyed it very much. Walking distance to the beach and plenty to do at the home including use of kayaks.

The space was very clean, and comfortable enough for six adults and two babies. The location is quiet and calm but close enough to activities. The outdoor amenities of the house (firepit, decks, outdoor shower) are exceptionally nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

This property was perfectly suited for our group; a bunch of old guys, sitting around a fire, talking about nothing. Also very close to activities all over the Ocean City and Delaware beaches, if you are into that sort of thing. Great for families and groups of any kind! I recommend this to any group looking for an affordable get away.

Perfect Late Summer!

Absolutely loved the home and enjoyed our time there. The kitchen and living room setup was perfect. Spent a ton of time there or just outside on the deck. Our small dog loved sitting in the sun on the deck, looking out over the water. Can't wait to visit again and book this beautiful home. Excellentante!

Family reunion at the beach

We had a wonderful time at this house in Fenwick Island. Everyone in our group of 10 people said they would love to go back if they had a chance. The property was extremely clean when we arrived. All of the essentials were provided and the location was convenient to the beach, ice cream, restaurants and everything we needed.

Loved it!!!

We enjoyed our stay at 41 bayside drive. We’ve been coming to Fenwick island for over 50 years, staying at different rental homes. This one by far has been one of our favorites. The view of the bay was beautiful and the fire pit was very relaxing. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and an infant. We definitely plan on returning.

Loved the place

Working with VRBO, no issues what other. Working with Vacasa was frustrating as our check in was delayed because of lack of cleaning. Beautiful property and experience made up for the inconvenience.

Absolutely Beautiful Views and 100% Convenience

Great time to be had by all. Everything was clean and neat! Elevator was a huge plus for not only our elderly dog - but those humans too! The views were fantastic throughout each deck. The dock was amazing and there was plenty of room for our two jet skis and boat! Parking was simple - enough for all that came! For our family of 12 a the house was big enough for every to not feel like they were crowded over each other. The fire pit was amazing and nice for all of us to sit around at night.

Nice place - NOT 100% accessible despite elevator

This is an amazing property on a great quiet location near the beach. For those looking for accessibility, there is one step to the door and the door is raised above the ground entry so mobility scooter wasn't able to get in without being lifted. The property was cleaned very basically, and the floors were dirty upon our arrival. We had an issue with the air conditioning during our stay and Vacasa was quick to help us get it fixed. The wifi was Ok for normal use but for remote working it sometimes lagged. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice house but not clean

Lots of dogs hair on floors and in the master bed. Washing machine latch was broken so we could not do laundry . The outside shower was green and slimey. There was 2.5 rolls of toilet paper for 3 5 bathrooms not quite enough livingroom furniture for 5 of the 6 people that came let alone 12 which its supposed to accommodate

Exceeded expectations

This house was amazing! It just kept getting better. Walkable to everything in Fenwick and the beach. The parking lot was huge with a covered area. They had a fire pit, full beach gear (wagon, toys, noodles, chairs, umbrellas, etc.), kayaks, grill, etc. There was an elevator for easy unloading. The balcony offered a great place to sit and read, or watch the sunset. They view was incredible. Lots of private spaces in the house for people from our group to gather. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools (do wish they had a coffee maker in addition to the keurig). We kept our boat at the house and boated to dinner at Harpoon Hannah’s and Catch54 a few nights - just watch out - the route there goes through some very shallow water. We would definitely stay at the house again and our stay made us partial to Fenwick in the future.

Perfect and peaceful!

This house was a great find. Being big Harry Potter fans, we took to calling it the "Harry Potter House" as the unique design has a HP feel to it. Also, the house is deceiving big and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice. We had brought an air mattress but discovered we didn't need it as there is a pull out sofa. This worked well for my son (one of two guys with 8 girls). The house was clean and had everything we needed. One recommendation... being music lovers, we would have loved to take advantage of the stereo system but we could not figure it out. Instructions on how to connect to system would have been great. This didn't affect how we felt about the house or our rating though. We will definitely keep this house in mind for next summer.

I would stay here again and really enjoyed our time at Fenwick. There's a wagon in the "sand room" on the ground floor that thank goodness was there.There is a whole house audio system that will probably spark curiosity. I don't think it's intended to be used by guests renting the place though; so just tell kids to ignore the knobs that turn and appear to do nothing but likely control the in-ceiling speakers in the room with the knob.Dishwasher was weird, I had problems with it and wrote the property manager the owner uses and sent some photos but they didn't say if they were going to do anything. Then one morning when my spouse tried to start the wash it worked and didn't turn itself off. I think there was a drainage issue or something. There's an elevator. It can get into a weird state if one of the inner doors doesn't clasp closed all the way, I discouraged use of the elevator but the novelty of an elevator IN A HOUSE is too much for a 10yo to pass up. Because the kitchen is on the top floor and lugging groceries up flights of stars is awful I was delighted it was there. When we first arrived it was fantastic too.Instacart can find the house fine usually. We had an order that wound up going nowhere but did it again the next morning no problem. We did use the kitchen there and it worked great other than the dishwasher being difficult.We AirPlay'ed Jackbox Games to the TV upstairs often. I did sign-in to the PS5 via guest login and was able to stream a game.

We’ll Be Back!

So many great things about this property, especially for families with kids! (1) Elevator - loved not carrying luggage up the stairs. Easy to operate. Was about the width of a regular doorway plus a few inches. Would likely fit most wheelchairs. (2) Code lock on front door - no keys needed, just the code. Easy for a group since you don’t have to keep track of who has the key. (3) Easy walk to the beach (4) Restaurants, ice cream, candy, and playground all walkable from the house (5) Quiet neighborhood with no through traffic so safe for the kids to ride their bikes (6) Smart TVs in every room! PS5 and XBox One (7) Well-stocked kitchen - we cooked a few times and had everything we needed except aluminum foil. Seasonings were present as was a large container of cooking oil. Leur if was present but you’ll need to bring your own pods. Some dish detergent, pods, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets were provided. One roll of paper towels was provided. (8) Bathrooms in every bedroom and in living room. We did not run out of toilet paper while there for 3 nights. Little shampoos, conditioner, bar soap and hand soap provided. Clean towels and linens. (9) Outdoor amenities - beautiful views from the lovely deck space with plenty of chairs. We didn’t use the fire pit but it looked nice, 30 ft lead for dog, and shower (wasn’t working right when we tried) (10) Extras - beach chairs, wagons, blanket, a few toys and shovels, umbrellas, kids fishing nets, crab traps.

Pie Slice Shaped Home on the Bay

You'll really enjoy your stay at this home. The strengths far outweigh the weaknesses. Strengths: the location is perfect. You can walk to Matt's Fish Camp, Nantuckets, Vanderwendes (ice cream) and other places. The street headed to the house has a traffic light for safe travel north or south on route 1. The kitchen is stocked. Keurig and Ninja coffee pots, cutting boards, full set of dishes, cups, mugs, serving trays, crock pot, pots and pans. The home has a surround sound system. There were no instructions on how to use it. If you connect to "BT Hifi Audio" on bluetooth it will play from your devise. Each room has a dial for volume, including the upper deck. The firepit is functional and there's a big stack of wood. It was smoky, despite it being Breeo. It was a windy night and likely the fire pit will function better on other nights. There are loads of linens for beds and plenty of towels. There's an elevator that is new, functions perfectly and was so helpful for our senior aged dog who can't do stairs. Essential feature for disabled guests, elderly people, or older pets. The storage closet to the right of the front door has so many things! Beach chairs, a beach blanket, boogie boards, fishing rods, etc. There are also several (3?) bikes in the garage I believe you can use. We packed bikes since we didn't know bikes were available. What's not in the description of the home and worth mentioning is the property has Nest cameras. There are several cameras (all external) and the owners watch and share feedback to the management company. Do not forget anything! It's not easy to get something you left there so please carefully pack and check all cabinets before you depart. We highly recommend this home and hope you enjoy your time in Fenwick Island, DE!
