“We had a wonderful stay at Jon & Katie’s beautiful home. My family, ranging in age from 14-85 yo, stayed for four nights to attend my niece’s wedding. The home was spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. With so many bedrooms we were easily able to spread out, and the varied living/gathering spaces made relaxation and hanging out fun. “This house is very well equipped with what look like new brand bathrooms and very clean rooms and setting. Outdoor space for fire or gathering or games all terrific. Mid century modern charms with a new feel. Neighborhood was quiet. Within walking distance of the beautiful Arcata Community forest which was our first taste of the Redwoods and was a great hike and beautiful. Coffee shop and grocery store within walking distance. Village a mile or two away! Cannot say enough positive about this...

“The entire family just loved the stay at your lovely home! If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely want to stay there. I have never been in such a cool house like this one. Unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything was so nice and tidy and lots of amenities. Room for all five of us and two dogs. We really, really loved it!!! Magical was a good word for it.”

“Loved the house. I wished there was covering for the door. It has a lot of glass and people can look right in the door. Some of the items are placed to high for some people to reach. For example the laundry soap and the coffee mugs. No iron or ironing board. The knob to change from tub to shower head was very difficult to turn. Otherwise everything was perfect.”
