Maten som serveras var av hög klass och priserna inte allt för dyra. Det enda negativa var tiderna för poolen med barn 2 timmar pĂ„ morgonen och 2 timmar pĂ„ eftermiddagen.â

âI was unexpectedly in Cork for one night and I stayed at this lovely hotel. It was excellent location,the friendly staff at the reception let me check in early and gave me a quiet room with a bath. really nice breakfast and restauranf. the only think was that they had a added a breakfast for two on my roomservice bill but theysorted it out with no hazzle at all. gave me good advice on what to do and seeâ
âWe stayed one night in a family suite. The room was lovely and spacious with an absolutely ginormous bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the extra seating area. A couple small items - we were there when it was quite hot, and although the room was equipped with an AC unit that blew air, it never actually cooled off. To be fair, I didn't figure this out until the middle of the night, so I didn't report it til checkout. If you're not from Ireland, fair warning that hotels...
âNice and new hotel on the river with parking being validated . Good shower pressure. Comfy bed . We had the family room with an extra bed which was convenient. We got a good deal for breakfast buffet which was excellent.â
âWe had a wonderful stay at The Old Bank House. Lovely staff, beautiful room, comfortable bed, spacious space in the heart of Kinsale. Our breakfast was the best we had in Ireland. â
âWe loved the view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend to friends and family!â

"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they canât do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. Itâs absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath oneâs back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
