Our Condo is the perfect year-round destination. Located at Fernie Alpine Resort, you have access to all the activities including skiing, mountain biking and hiking. The condo is newly renovated and is fully furnished with all the amenities provided. A comfortably furnished lounge features a TV and a fireplace.

Nice view out the back windows/deck. comfy furniture and nice bedding. Several lights were burnt out including master bedroom, only had one night stand light that worked. Closet door and master bedroom door didn’t close properly. Liked the fans going as it was very hot that week. Couldn’t use the hot tub as it was too hot outside. No on-site recycling so that was a bummer. Upstairs people were loud and banging around.

Perfectly Adequate

Smelled like gas, propane was kept inside the residence, and fireplace smelled like gas. Couple of burnt out light bulbs, resulting in a dark bedroom. Doors were hard to close. Hot tub message said water change was 76 days over due, however, after communicating with host they confirmed regular cleaning, they just hadn’t let us know beforehand. All things considered, it felt slightly overpriced. Host was quick with communication.

Great place, well appointed and very clean. Easy check in, close to the hill, comfortable beds and great hot tub. Stayed with my family (kids aged 9,7,5) over spring break and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would stay again.

Peaceful Condo in the Mountains

This condo was perfect for our family of five. It had everything we needed plus the bonus of a secluded hot tub and Lego and games for the kids! Carel was an excellent host, and the complex was nice and quiet and was an easy walk or bike ride to the hill. Air conditioning would have been a bonus but the condo cooled down nicely in the evening with the windows open. We would definitely stay again.

Good location, clean

Nice condo 1 minute drive from lift. Hot tub hadn’t been maintained and BBQ starter didn’t work, but Carel very responsive sorting these issues out. No air conditioning and it was super hot in the area, quite warm in the condo. Master shower has leaking faucet.

Cozy, comfy and private

We had an amazing time at Carel’s condo. It’s very clean comfortable and once inside the condo it feels like you are the only people around. It’s very private. We golfed in town but would be perfect for a ski vacation too. We will be back!

Overall we were very happy with the condo. The owners have updated the decore and everything was in good working order, with the exception of the barbecue. We would definitely stay there again.

Cartel’s condo is a great location and updated appliances and rooms make for a very comfy stay. A super responsive host. Hot tub option was great but for our stay the water quality could have been better, but we still used. Highly recommend to others

Excellent!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very well stocked, clean, the beds were very comfortable and the private hot tub was a great feature. The is by far the best VRBO we have stayed in. The owner responds promptly to questions which made planning our stay really easy. This condo is a short and easy ski in from the Elk Chair. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing was it’s not quite a ski in ski out. For that price you might what to remove that, pretty good hike to the lift. Overall loved it!

Comfortable condo

Clean. Comfortable beds. Convenient parking. Would be nice to have another couch or chairs that were more comfortable for hanging out in the evening. Hot tub was clean and comfortable. I had thought it was ski in ski out based on the listing but we couldn’t figure out how to do this. We didnt bother asking and I’m sure the host would have helped out. Anyway, it wasn’t a big deal to drive to the lifts. I would stay here again.

Summer Getaway

This property was great to come back to after a day of hiking or rafting… the hot tub was a welcomed addition. While not huge, it was perfect for our family of 4. The owner was quick to answer any questions we had! It was a quick jaunt up the hill to hiking at the ski resort or to meet our rafting pickup.
