"I booked this hotel based on the high ratings at Hotels.com, but unfortunately my experience didn’t quite match the expectations those reviews created. The building is noticeably worn out and in need of renovation. There is no elevator, and the only way up is via steep, narrow, winding staircases that require real caution when carrying luggage or simply moving between floors. The rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed. It was so noisy that it often felt as if other guests were standing inside my room when they where in the hallway or in their room. Breakfast is frequently described as very good in the reviews, but I found the selection quite limited. There was only white bread and very few options that could be considered a healthy breakfast. It felt more like a minimal offering than something worth highlighting. What I want to highlight is the location — it’s excellent, with convenient parking options all around. The host and staff were also genuinely friendly, welcoming, and service‑minded, which made the stay more pleasant despite the shortcomings. Overall, the hotel’s high rating feels misleading. With some improvements, it could be a charming place, but in its current state it doesn’t live up to the praise it receives online."

"Först tyckte vi att det var lite konstigt att det var självservice, med det funkade väldigt bra. Rummet var snyggt och fräscht och de gemensamma ytorna nere i ”lobbyn” var mysiga att använda under kvällen. Kändes verkligen som ett vardagsrum. Frukosten var det enda som drog ner betyget, men det gick att betala sig till buffefrukost på hotellet bredvid (om vi förstod det hela rätt). Vi använde oss av förbetald frukost och då fick man en voucher som man löste in mot kaffe, croissant & yoghurt så man fick något i magen innan avfärd, men detta var inte vår favorit. "
