âHotellet lĂ„g precis pĂ„ stranden. HĂ€rligt att kunna ta ett bad i havet. Vi testade ocksĂ„ poolen som barnen uppskattade. Helt ok restaurang och frukost. Tog lite tid att fĂ„ middagen dock. Bra priser i restaurangen. PromenadavstĂ„nd till strand med livvakt och strandrestaurang samt glassbar. â
âThe bungalow was very cosy and warm. A small garden to sit out in although you feel watched as the club house next door has cameras that over look the garden.
My weeks stay was brilliant, Enjoyed the stay but wished there had been clearer communication about some of the dog walks around the area.
Only told the area was dog friendly on my last day. They do supply beding, towels and cleaning equipment. Very friendly cleaning lady who introduced herself after my first day and she made some...
âIt was an excellent 2 night stay, breakfast was plentiful and delicious with lots of choice, bed was very comfortable providing a good night's sleep and being able to use the swimming pool was an added plus, would definitely reccomend. â
âAn enjoyable stay, use of the spa being free as a guest, 2 hour booking having the spa to ourselves was extra special, weather this be the same if hotel was busy, spa pool was quite small would have been quite full.
Staff friendly and courteous. Highly recommend the Coctails, a little pricy, reduce to ÂŁ9 as ÂŁ13 bit steep, we would have had more.!
We ate in the restaurant great choices nicly presented. ÂŁ9 for a dessert again a little pricy. â
âHusband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more.
Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security...
âWe were sadly only there for one night, but we really wanted to stay much longer! Our room was amazing, so spacious and beautiful, and the hosts were so sweet, generous and helpful!
Would recommend a stay here to everyone. â

After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel.
It's set in a small, quiet village near the river.
We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent
The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy.
The breakfast in the morning was superb quality made from local produce. ...
âAngie and Charly could not have been more welcoming, The position was spectacular overlooking the valley set in a lovely garden, The rooms very tastefully decorated with large proportions.
If in the area again we would definitely stay again.â
âThe hotel itself is an old and charming building with nice rooms although it is starting to look a little worn in places.
The restaurant on the other hand is newly built and served up some fantastic dinner. The staff are friendly and if you like charm and a fabulous sea view I would recommend it.â
