Family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at the pond house. Our sons had a wonderful time on the kayaks and paddle boat. We even celebrated our youngest sons second birthday here with the family. This was easily the most well equipped vacation home we have ever stayed at. Communication with the owner was quick and effortless. We highly recommend staying here!here! wiowners

The Pond House

It was so peaceful. Lots of room but mostly we were outside. The pond was so cool to float in. The fish never bothered us. Played card games in outside seating area. Listened to the birds. Furniture was comfortable as were the beds. Lots of kitchen ekitchen utensils. We loved grilling

Pond House

We had a great stay. Family trip with ages from 4 to 64 on the trip. We really appricated the 6 and 4 years having enough activities in and out of the house to keep entertained the entire trip. Feeding the fish was a big hit with them. River acces (public access) is just a short walk. Tubing is about 1.5 hr float/15 min drive to the next public access site. House was comfotable and well furished. Bit of a drive to the coast or Traverse City. We've been in area on several vacation and did not have day trips to the big lake as part or vacation plans. Definitely recommend this vrbo.

Weekend getaway

My brother and sister in law and myself were looking to getaway for a weekend. When i found this propert i instantly fell in love. When we got there, the pictures didnt do it justice. We had fun kayaking, hot tubing, and grilling outside. David and his wife were very accommodating, told them we would be late so Yvette turned the hot tub on for us so we could relax. Really loved this place and planing to revisit in the near future

Wonderful relaxing getaway

This property exceeds the pictures! Everything was better than expected. Plenty of room for the whole family. From the pond, water wheels, river, inter tubes, kayaks, and paddle boat. There’s plenty to do on the property, books, toys, inside and out for the kids, two beaches, the bridge to the island, and feeding the fish. It’s hard to pick one favorite thing! (Possibly the hot tub!) we had a great time with our family cooking meals, walking the property, and having fires at night. If you forget something they probably have it! We spent a day in travers city, but found ourselves excited to get back to the house! Amazing hosts to a truly magical home. We look forward to our next stay! Can’t say enough good things.

River House

This is a very nice property and house for many occasions and groups of people. It's very quiet, peaceful, and plenty of fun. No problems with any aspect of my time there, with the property manager providing an excellent experience.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was absolutely phenomenal, the house had plenty of space for the 12 adults we had stay with us. The property is beautiful, one of our favorite experiences was feeding the fish! Communication with David was great, he was an exceptional host for our group. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Pond house beyond expectations

This was an absolute beautiful property. Very well maintained had everything we needed. The property was huge with a spring fed pond. It was a great time feeding the fish in the pond, beautiful coy and quite unexpectedly enjoyable. The hot tub was very nice but it needed steps on the side where the step to ge in is. A wounderful serene stay with fire pit and family time.

Peaceful, beautiful, just an amazing getaway

The property here is the best part! You can soak in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful pond, paddle out onto the pond, swim in the pond or the river; and the inside is amazing as well! Comfortable beds, big screen TV for movie nights, an amazing kitchen. We felt so at peace on our break at The Pond House. We couldnt recommend it more!

Gorgeous Property

What a gem! Northern Michigan is amazing and this property made it even better. We spent hours playing in the lagoon and exploring the property. All the amenities you could ever need. Great communication. We will definitely be back.

Great Place to Stay!

David’s property was awesome. All of their extra effort to make you feel at home is very appreciated. They have everything you need and their backyard is amazing! We will definitely plan stays at this property for years to come.
