Ligger på 65 hektar med utsikt över vår egen privata, 5 tunnland damm, både sommar och vinter är gudomliga på Bally Loch. Massor av snö på vintern för skidåkning på Peekn Peak eller The Wilderness Lodge bara några miles på vägen. Vår egen egendom är också bra för snöskor och xc skidåkning. Sommaren är lika välsignad. Vår stora dammen är välfylld med bluegill och stora mun bas. Weedless och våren utfodras gör för läckra simning. Lantlig miljö betyder stjärnorna och månen är ljusa. Bara några minuter från Findley Lake och Peek 'N Peak Resort gör detta till den perfekta tillflyktsort för en vilsam semester med familjen eller för en kreativ reträtt.
Alla bekvämligheter i hemmet - nyrenoverade och välfylld kök samt badrum, centralvärme - uppvägs av mysig inredning och bränder för kvällen i öppen spis eller vedspis. Allt under förutsättning inklusive häftklamrar i köket och högsta kvalitet sängkläder för sängar och handdukar för badrum.
På övervåningen, två sovrum erbjuder en full storlek i master och en drottning och tvilling i andra sovrummet.

Family reunion

My daughter and I stayed here the weekend of my family reunion. The property is absolutely amazing! A true respite from The busy city we live in. The house is very cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Great Pond

This place has a great fishing pond and wonderful wildlife walking trails. It is just a short drive to the town and beautiful Findley Lake. Murl was very quick to respond to any of our of our questions. Neighbors are very nice too.

Great Location

It was a last minute decision to head to Peek & Peak for a ski competition and we prefer VRBO properties vs hotels when possible and this location met our needs. Hosts were on the spot with giving pre arrival instructions and direct contact information prior to our arrival. The cabin was clean and in a nice location away from busy roads but close enough to resort to make morning commute easy! The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans pantry items etc, even the frying pan was good which always my test of kitchens lol. The wood burning fire place made for cozy relaxation after long days on the slopes for our son and parents. This spot would be a great summer rental also with lake and nice back yard to enjoy the summer nights. Only not perfect thing to mention was the loft sleeping area, beds were as described clean with fresh linens but the ceiling is low.. please use caution when going in and out of sleeping area! Hope other folks can enjoy this properly like our family has! Thanks again!

Lovely place!

We absolutely love this cottage. Beautiful home and wooded area. A nice pond in the back for fishing or paddle boats or just to enjoy looking at. My kids loved the hammock and playing on the dock. The also enjoyed the loft space and looking down on the living room from up top. I would go back in a heart beat. The hosts are genuinely nice and accommodating. I would give it 10 Stars if I could.

Even better than last year!

This was our second time coming here and we loved it! The property is so beautiful. We loved rowing and using the pedal boat on the pond and jumping off the floating dock into the water. We made pizza in the wood-fired pizza oven and roasted s'mores around the firepit. The local contact was super friendly and told us all about the property. This is a great place to just unwind. If it were closer to our home we'd come all the time!

Comfy cabin close to skiing

This property worked well for us so that we could ski at Peek'n Peak and maintain social distancing. It has a nice kitchen that is very well equipped. Some furnishings could be updated or removed, meaning the curtains. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have the fireplace insert in the evenings. Overall worked great for us in a lovely setting. Property owner was very responsive.

Nice but misleading Zero privacy..

There is a huge lack of privacy between the owners who live next door. We couldn't walk the property without being seen by owners. Pond is much smaller than expected and is also shared by owners. The firepit is closer to the property owners house than the rental.. Ok as for the inside don't plan on watching any TV minus DVDs.. Make sure to cover bathroom window seeing how it's a direct view to the property owners house.. Finally the sleeping situation is one big open loft with a dividing wall, bedding was clean and comfortable however if you're over 5 ft tall plan on wacking your head a few times also don't get to close to railing cause you could fall a good 10 ft to the livingroom below. Okay one last thing is you can hear the l-86 traffic noise in the background. Overall I would not rent this location again.

Wonderful getaway

Headed to NY for a long weekend with the family. This cottage was adorable and we all fell in love with it! It is in a great location with tons to do in just a short drive away, but there’s no need to leave the property. The lake, on site trails, and fire pit provided our family with the relaxing time we needed to end the summer.

Cozy Cottage

We absolutely loved this cozy cottage stay. The location was perfect, the cottage was adorable, and the pond was amazing. We could seriously have stayed just on the property for our whole trip and it would have been so relaxing (we did venture to Lake Erie to explore). The included toiletries and fire wood made a HUGE difference for us. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of fluffy towels. I took away one star because the mattress on the master bed was like sleeping on a rock, but the overall stay was awesome, and we definitely plan to return!

Nice little cottage

Three of us stayed at the cottage while attending a retreat about 20 minutes away. We were gone from early in the morning until late at night so we didn't get to use any of the amenities. The beds were comfortable and had we been around during the day or evening, I'm sure we would have taken advantage of the lake for fishing and the fire circle. Everything we needed was right there!

Super cozy cottage

This cottage is so cozy and inviting and the property has so many awesome things to do! My kids wanted to move in and live there forever. We especially loved rowing around the pond and jumping off the little floating dock into the water. The water isn't crystal clear, so some people may not venture into it, but we found the water to be totally fine for swimming. We got a lot of rain when we were there and really liked snuggling up inside. When there was an issue as a result of the storm, we were able to reach the owner easily. We're all looking forward to returning one day.
