“Ett gammalt kloster ombyggt till hotell. Äldre stil och fullt med intressanta prylar. Oerhört vänlig och personlig service. Ganska små rum, men allt funkar som det ska. Underbart bibliotek där vin och kakor ingår. Stor och härlig trädgård.”

Arrived with the intention of staying one night, tore myself away after 10 nights ! More than 100% recommendation. Not to be missed if you visit Southland.”

“We had a very nice 3-day stay in one of the cottages. It was very quite, and the beds were very comfortable with an electrical blanket. The cottage was quite well equipped and there was heating. We had a great trip to Doubtful Sound, which the lady at the reception helped us to book. Unfortunately, the weather was quite wet, and the cottage was a bit damp. We asked for an extra change of towels as they did not dry well in the cottage. We went to Te Anau for dinner as the local pub mostly seems...

“Room has everything you need for a nice stay. Clean. Lots of windows. Not sure if the AC works, but didn't really need it for our visit. Kitchen has the basics. Great location- 10 minute walk along the lake to restaurants and shops. ”
