âGood value for the price. Great location. Breakfast is good and everyday they have different options. Daily wine tastings is an added bonus. Definitely recommend this and will stay again if around this place. â
âThis hotel is great! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is VERY close to a more or less private part of the beach and there are showers at the bottom of the hotel, so you can clean yourself off before you get back in. The rooms are nice and reasonably sized and you are able to watch the sunset if your room faces the beach.â
âWe loved our stay at the Blue Heron Motel. Right on the beach, close to everything that you would need. It is not a new, fancy hotel (which is what we wanted). It was clean and larger than expected. The only thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the window in case guests wanted to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!â

âThe cabin was a perfect place to go to sleep after staying out all day on the beach. Close to Fat Boys for ice cream and some of our favorite restaurants. Although advertised as âsoundproof wallsâ our experience was otherwise, could definitely hear our neighbors very clearly through the walls. No complaints, would stay there again with my wife on another long weekend on the Outer Banks!!â

âThis is my go to place for visits to OBX - great accommodations, far enough from the crush of visitors to be cheaper but close enough for access to the beach after a few minutes of driving.â
âThis was the perfect, calm getaway. Itâs close to everything, but also far enough away to feel remote. Also, the staff is some of the nicest I have met during a stay. I will definitely stay here again. â
âThe continental breakfast waffles were great! Everything was fully stocked. The bed was also great. The pillows were a little on the small side. Housekeeping was very helpful. Loved the pool!â
âWe would definitely stay here again, it was clean, nice decor, our view of the ocean was the best, and breakfast was great. Didn't give it a 5 because main elevator areas could have been cleaner and the glass door on our floor was dirty, but that's not a big deal. Oh, the beds were very comfortable! â
