“Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. The decor and furniture enhanced the room giving plenty of space to put our clothes and personal effects. Food was very good, we had a three course dinner and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a good and varied choice on the menu. Toast was available on...

“Very nice room, bed was a little short for me at over 6 foot tall, but not the end of the world. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area”

“Perfekt läge för den som ej vill bo mitt i centrala stan. Kloss an havet med fina promenadstråk. Bussförbindelse in till stora staden Colchester. 30 min med bil. Fri parkering. Fantastiskt fin personal och service. Mysig pub/restaurang! Görgod paj i restaurangen.”

“It was a close walk to the center of colchester, and it was a beutiful hotell with a charming bar”

“Really comfortable bed. Super clean. Great for a couple of nights stay. Close to the University to meet up with our daughter. Would recommend the Beth Chatto Garden near by for a visit. ”

“Checked into Room one, nice view over quay but as soon as I lay on bed headboard collapsed, went to have shower and shower not working, was allowed to use bathroom down the hall but not ideal. No remote for TV so couldn’t use that either. Wanted to say good stay but very poor.”

“Såååå mysigt ställe med så serviceinriktad personal! Verkligen ett mysigt inn. Enda som saknades var AC:n då värmen var hög i England vid tillfället vi var där.”

“Nice place, service was decent and rooms was clean and simple with a view over hole 10 and 18.”
