âEtt mycket trevligt litet hotell. Bra sĂ€ngar, vĂ„rt rum hade Ă€ven balkong. Fint bibliotek med skinnmöbler och öppen spis, mysigt. Ett lokalt öl-bryggeri tvĂ€rs över gatan (om deras pub Ă€r stĂ€ngd sĂ„ finns ölen Ă€ven att bestĂ€lla i hotellets restaurang). Bra frukost, av de 7 hotell vi bodde pĂ„ under denna resa sĂ„ var denna frukost den bĂ€sta. Trevlig personal.

âIt would help tremendously to put the trash containers in the bathroom (under the sink), mount the TV on the wall and place the table in the middle of the wall opposite the bed. We had carry-out and had to eat on the bed because the TV was on the table. I noticed an outdoor patio where you could place a hot tub but I bet itâs hard to monitor with no on-site staff. â
âThis place is amazing. If youâre adventurous itâs a bit of a drive and absolutely worth it. You canât get more secluded than this. Hot tub on the porch. Bring food and drinks!â
âThe smell is horrible. No where in their information about the hotel or location does it indicate that it is right next to a working farm with horses and cows⊠and the smell that comes with it. Stepping out of the car was a pain, and the smell also lingered in our room (probably due to a broken window that could not be closed all the way and because they air out the rooms when they are cleaned). âThe area is beautiful! The hotel is in a very private treed area overlooking a lake. There are lots of birds. We enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the lake. The rooms are modern. Ours did not face the lake and guests could walk by and look into the room if the curtains were not closed. The restaurant was quite good and so was the included breakfast. â
âWe had a wonderful stay in Seydisfjordur on our tour around Iceland. The guesthouse was clean, the kitchen well equipped and the staff very nice and helpful. Everything in Seydisfjordur is within walking distance, including a much appreciated playground with a bouncing pad. â

âKrakhamar was great, the owner was very friendly and helpful, the day we were supposed to leave the road was washed out, and she was very accommodating and helpful. As for the apartment, we were able to cook a fantastic dinner, and enjoyed a peaceful night sleep, despite the storm outside.â
