Peaceful Modern Farmhouse in the Woods

Welcome to our modern farmhouse in the woods in Flagstaff, AZ. We have thoughtfully created a custom home that compliments our mountain vibe & gives you the comforts of home. This is the perfect place to begin your adventures or stay in and relax and unwind. Our 1.5 acre property backs the forest service and has multiple trails surrounding our home or just a short drive away. Owners live on property.

We are in a beautiful, quiet and safe family neighborhood just minutes from shopping, restaurants, grocery, and sightseeing. Our home is surrounded by trees, wildlife (deer families love our yard) mountains & parks. As a major outdoor town you can enjoy mountain biking & hiking trails (forest service access right from our backyard). Your space is 100% private including no shared living spaces & a private entrance to your space. Our home truly is a space for relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine, drinking cocoa while watching the snow fall or relaxing on the hammock on summer days. Master suite & living room have their own TV with access to Hulu & Netflix. We have A/C, heat and a pellet stove for warmth and ambiance. We have the most comfortable bed you’ve ever slept on with pillows galore! There are multiple backyard spaces that are open to our guests. Just minutes from the I-40 freeway, downtown and all outdoor and winter activities in Flagstaff and elsewhere.

Quiet New Year retreat

Comfortable and quiet home away from the crowd

We loved our stay in this lovely, spacious, comfortable home. The bed was super comfortable and the decor was quite nice. You can tell that the owners are talented artists and we enjoyed the photography throughout the home. The hosts were extremely attentive to any of our needs and we highly recommend this rental to anyone in the Flagstaff area.

Peaceful and Quiet

This was an unexpected gem back off the main roads and surrounded by farms. The guesthouse is beautiful and has everything we needed. We had a little surprise this morning when a herd of cows came through the property, our dog thought it was pretty exciting. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway with your significant other and your pup.

Great getaway

This quiet home was perfect for us. It is about 10 minutes outside of Flagstaff, so it was very quiet. The king-size bed was VERY comfy, and each of us had our own bathroom! The kitchen was well-stocked - even with spices. We had never used a pellet stove before, but it was easy and kept the house very toasty. Loved it!

Beautiful guest house with lots of space around!

We absolutely loved our stay! This is a truly lovely, spacious, modern, well-appointed guest house. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space inside and out, it was a perfect winter getaway to enjoy some peace and lots snow. The home has everything you will need, the king size bed is so comfortable, there are baby accommodations and lots of kids games and books. The property has plenty of outdoor space as well and access for exploring around. The owners/property manager are so kind and welcoming, and really responsive! We would absolutely love to come back one day and enjoy a different season there as well!

Cutest farmhouse

This was such a fun and spacious place to enjoy a weekend, tucked away from the city in a very quiet neighborhood. Easy to prepare meals, watch the smart TV, play games, read books, relax on the back patio looking at the stars. And the cute pellet stove, which heated quickly and smelled so good outside. Would love to come back!

My wife and I had a great experience staying here. Communication with owners was great, very responsive and helpful. Place is really quite big, great layout, fully functioning kitchen, great winter escape, close to grocery stores, hiking. Would stay here again.

Amazing Flagstaff Getaway!

Renee & Robin - thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us. When you first walk in, you’re greeted with a chalkboard welcoming you and your family and a basket on the counter with a bunch of snacks! This home has literally everything you need. There are bottles of sanitizing wipes available to use, bottles of hand sanitizer, and small packets of sanitizing wipes around the home. As a nurse, the fact that they’ve gone above and beyond to keep guests safe is incredible and shows they truly care about those of us who walk through their doors. This immediately won us over. The living room has a massive amount of books and game boards to keep you and your littles entertained! The TV comes hooked up to Netflix & Hulu! You can also hook up to their free Wifi! From the living room, you have direct access to their deck. The views of the stars at night are unmatched! I love stargazing and at R2Farmhouse, you have an incredible view. The bathrooms are beautiful as well. The bathroom closest to the bedroom has a kid toilet seat you just have to pull down. We’re in the middle of potty training our son so to be able to keep up with our routine was amazing. It’s the little things that this home has that sets it apart from everyone else. We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s in our travels and this was the first home we’ve stayed in that truly targets the whole family. The bedroom was incredibly beautiful. The bed? So amazingly comfortable. I am a total pillow snob and their pillows were PERFECT! I could go on and on but you just have to see for yourself. It is the first time we’ve stayed in a guesthouse with the owners on property. We were a little nervous that our two kids would end up being too loud but these two wonderful ladies assured us that they could not hear us and not to worry about them making noise. My kids felt comfortable and safe! Last but not least - their backyard is amazing and has access to a trail into the woods. We were able to go on a little walk in the snow! Again, thank you, thank you, thank you for an incredible weekend. Thank you for going above and beyond for us!
