âThe Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. âVisually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff.
Breakfast ⊠weâd booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something.
But overall we had a very good stay and would return.â

âWe had a lovely 2 day stay. Greeted by the delightful Megan on reception who looked after us beautifully. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Our two breakfasts in the glorious dinning hall were exceptional and both Doreen and Sorrel went above and beyond to make it such a special experience. Excellent service and friendliness. Our stay ended with another lovely lady on reception who helped us with our luggage to our car and waved us off. We had a great stay and can highly recommend anyone...

âWe loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasnât open and some work was happening but you can tell itâs going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .â
