  • STONECLIFF-Denna pittoreska bergstuga ligger i hjärtat av Blue Ridge Mountains, bara cirka tio miles från Boone och tio miles från West Jefferson.

    Att njuta av floden kan du köra och gå ner till New River. Denna gemenskap av stugor har en privat sjö med en picknick lusthus och strandområde.

    Oavsett om du gillar att simma, fiska, paddla, paddla, forsränning, grottutforskning, vandring, cykling, antikviteter, shopping eller god mat, erbjuder denna plats allt detta plus avkoppling. Kolla korget med broschyrer (i vardagsrummet) för information om dessa och många fler lokala attraktioner. FUN slutar aldrig!

    Denna härliga tre sovrum, två badkar har en imponerande tjugo fot med tio fot flod sten vedeldad spis som en vacker kontaktpunkt. Gratis trådlöst nätverk. Familjerna njuter av det öppna vardagsrummet, matsalen och köket med Hickory trägolv. Med två sovrum och ett badrum på första våningen och en master svit på övervåningen, det finns gott om plats för alla. Nyinstallerat A / C år 2017.

    Den första nedre sovrummet består av två enkelsängar och kallas "Bear Room" (du kommer att se varför). Det andra sovrummet heter "White Room" och lovar ren komfort och enkelhet. På övervåningen hittar du den lyxiga master sviten med fåfänga och badrum.

    Koppla av ute och njut av trädens topputsikt på wrap-around däck med matbord, sex stolar, två rockers och gasgrill för dig njutning. Kika genom träden och titta på fåglarna flyger bland bergen. Det finns också en lugn bänk utanför på nedre grunderna - lugn gjorde det enkelt.

    Nedervåningen hittar du Spelrummet utrustat med full storlek pingisbord, turneringspilstav och ett frittstående bordsfotbänk. Det finns också gott om brädspel, pussel och DVD-skivor (eller ta med dig). Vardagsrummet har DSL-åtkomst via ett DSL-modem och en trådlös router. Hängande under däck hittar du 2 flodrör, väntar bara på att flyta dig ner i New River.

Loved the cabin my family and I had a great time. If you are traveling with a toddler very challenging , cabin is lovely decorated and toddlers love all the things they can get their hands on 😁

Wonderful property, we got to see and play with snow. Great location, would definitely stay again. I would like to see a campfire circle outside in that beautiful sitting area.

Relaxing Weekend

Real estate agency 4 Seasons was great to work with. They switched our home with no issue after Hurricane Helene. Carolina Dream was a dream for our family getaway ! Great house with plenty of room.

A Boone reunion

We are friends who used to tube the New River on visits and it had been five years. This place had everything we could have wanted for the weekend. And it smelled like a campfire which was amazing.

Relaxing getaway

The inside of the house was very clean and the set up was perfect for two couples and three kids. For three nights it would have been nice to have at least two wash clothes per person. The outside area was nice but dirty, would have been nice if at least blown off prior to arrival. And if I have to hand wash the dishes it would have been nice to have a dishrag, sponge or brush. Minor complaints but kept it from being a perfect stay.

Overall stay...a snuggly nest for 5 tired birds. Complaints...parking was a bit tricky Expected a slightly larger unit...BUT... turns out size was perfect...silly me. We had no idea the boys would spend so much time playing pingpong and slinging darts. Nearby grocery (Food Lion) spectacular. Great produce. And the tiny town Todd was super cute. Intimate, sweet, thoughtful conversations were had with coffee mugs in hand on the deck...and after exploring in town or horseback riding superb dinners were prepared and enjoyed as important decisions were made over which movie to watch with dessert. If it's not obvious we had a great time once we took our city glasses off😃

Nice, but could've been cleaner

Overall this property was nice and worked for what we needed. It had a good amount of space for our group of 7. Parking was a bit tight (we had 3 vehicles) as it is just a small section on the side of the road but all cars fit with cautious guidance and going bumper to bumper. It is difficult to turn around in the neighborhood as well. I would say that this property is more family friendly for those with older kids. We had a 3 and 2 year old with us and with the uneven stone landing, and the exterior doors that only locked the outside access - meaning the kids were able to open the locked doors from the inside - we were on high alert. The house is on a pretty steep hill, so unsteady kids wandering around outside definitely made us a bit nervous. The biggest issue we had was the cleanliness of the the king bed in the master bedroom. When we arrived and checked the place out, it all looked great, but when we went to bed that night, we pulled back the covers to discover that there was hair, that clearly didn't belong to us, all over the pillow cases, sheets, and comforter. I'm not talking just one or two hairs, it was all over the bedding, top to bottom, inside and out. We had to spend a chunk of time picking all the hair off which left us feeling like the sheets hadn't been washed at all. It made for two restless nights of not feeling "clean". Now, we went to bed late Friday night so didn't want to reach out to management that late and because we already dealt with it for one night, and removed all the hair, we didn't want to deal with the hassle of having to have someone come squeeze around all our stuff and change it, so those two restless nights is partially on us. The other beds seemed to be fine and clean, but this set definitely wasn't. The kids also found an old pacifier and some other stuff under the side tables and couch in the living room, adults probably wouldn't have seen it so I see how it was missed, but wanted to mention it. The game room floor was pretty dirty as well with hair and dead bugs. The rest of the house did seem clean, but for us, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bed and the game room and probably wouldn't stay here again because of it.

Beautiful Home

We loved staying in this beautiful home. We had everything we needed. The fireplace was a hit with our group as we had April snows while we were there. Just a FYI if you are planning to use the upstairs room with the extra daybed and trundle, there is not door on the bathroom so using the facilities was a little hard as people had to leave the room for showers etc. Also the window in the shower up there is regular glass and looks on to the porch of the house next door. It is very uncomfortable showering as you feel very exposed. These items are not deal breakers for us as we will happily return in the future. The house was very clean overall.

50th Birthday Celebration

Wonderful time. Cabin was nice and cozy. There was enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We will definitely visit again.

What a great weekend !!! Enjoyed a wonderful Family weekend with friends from Florida who had never seen snow or been in a winter. Beautiful property close to attractions such as beech mountain and blowing rock. All the amenities, all the space. Didn’t want for anything !!! Can’t wait to come back again.

Nice area

The area was very cute about 20 minutes from Boone. The cabin was decorated very cute and updated. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only complaint I have is that we couldn’t get the wood for the fireplace to light up and we had to wash our own sheets before we slept in them, other than that, it was a great stay.

Awesome vacation spot

This was our 1st time renting a cabin and it did not disappoint. They have everything you need to cook with on top of space heaters and fans if you need those as well. Parking was a little scary and can only fit 2 cars but it's all they had to work with so I get it. I would definitely recommend this cabin. Good location and beautiful and quit!

The perfect spot!!!

What a gem! The lush outdoor living spaces, the beautiful -well equipped- kitchen, the perfectly clean environment, the comfortable bedding, the wonderful neighborhood….I could go on and on! We thoroughly enjoyed this property and didn’t want to leave!

winter retreat

Overall, we had a fantastic time. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space and each had a bed. The cabin was beautiful and very clean, we had everything we needed to prepare meals over the weekend. The surrounding area is beautiful, we got some snow! The only negative is the parking, literally on the side of the cliff right off the one way only road. Only room for 2 vehicles, glad we didn't bring a 3rd! I would suggest adding that parking description in to the listing so there aren't any surprises. We would stay here again!

We had an amazing time, this place is beautiful, the house has everything, you wont miss anything,

You wont miss anything in this house, its like being in your own house, everything was so clean and new. the kitchen has all the little things to bake, to cook, to barbecue ect. I will come back next year again. Its not closed to the skiing area but the house is worth to drive 40 min to go skiing and we did it everyday no problem! we have 3 children (13 y/o, 11 y/o and 5 y/o) and they loved to sleep on the room upstairs and the playroom. Great touch!!!!

Nice property for a weekend trip to the mountains. We fit seven people in the cabin and there were enough beds for everyone to sleep in. Good location near the river for tubing!

Property was clean and well stocked. The basement was accessible from outside only. The description that the river is steps away from the house is a bit misleading. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Stonecliff.
