Six minutes on foot from Michelangelo s David at the Accademia Gallery, ten from the Duomo, and nine from the train station. Two couples or a family of four can each enjoy their own private sleeping space.

The entire apartment is yours: both bedrooms, the bathroom, kitchen and laundry area. Nothing is shared with us or other guests. **CHECK IN** Self check in with a keybox at the entrance, any time from 3:00 PM. The day before arrival, we ll send you the code, step by step instructions and photos of the entrance door, so you can find it easily, even at night. We re on the third floor and the building has an elevator, so you won t need to carry your suitcases up the stairs. If you prefer to be welcomed in person, just let us know. We ll arrange it at no extra cost. **EARLY ARRIVALS, LATE DEPARTURES** When the calendar allows, we can store your luggage inside the apartment before check in and after check out. Just ask and we ll get back to you promptly. **DURING YOUR STAY** We re a local team based in Florence. We reply to messages at any time and, if something needs attention, we can come by the same day. We never enter the apartment without notifying you first.

The street bins are just outside, near the entrance, and usually open without a key or app. Colours: brown organic waste, yellow paper, blue plastic and cans, green glass, grey general waste. If a digital bin won't open, use the free **Aprilo!** app with its 7 day tourist profile. Enable Bluetooth and hold your phone near the symbol. For short stays, you can leave rubbish inside; we'll take care of it. **QUIET HOURS** Residents live in the building. Keep noise down from 10 pm to 8 am, especially on the open mezzanine. **SMOKING** No smoking indoors, at windows or on the landing.

San Marco is the Florence neighbourhood where you ll find the university, the botanical garden and Michelangelo s David. It s also one of the few corners of the city centre where locals still do their everyday shopping. The Accademia Gallery is a six minute walk away. Five minutes further on, you ll reach the Central Market, where people shop in the morning and eat upstairs at lunchtime. Around the apartment, you ll find a bakery, a greengrocer, a few bars with familiar regulars and the Fortezza da Basso. It s a central but non touristy area. In the evening, the streets quieten down and you can sleep peacefully. The journey takes about 35 minutes, costs 2 and requires no changes or taxi. **PUBLIC TRANSPORT** Buses to Fiesole and the surrounding hills depart from Piazza San Marco, two minutes from the apartment. Trains to Siena, Pisa and Lucca depart from Santa Maria Novella station. **BY CAR** The apartment is inside the ZTL (restricted traffic zone). If you re arriving by car, contact us beforehand: we ll tell you where to park and, if necessary, how to apply for a temporary permit. Entering without a permit means a fine that may arrive months later.

You never have to walk through one bedroom to reach the other. This makes a real difference when travelling as four: those who go to bed early and those who return late won't disturb each other. **LIVING AREA** Open plan living room with a sofa, TV and dining table for four. Fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, espresso machine and kettle. Pots and dishes for proper cooking, not just reheating food. A washing machine is available in the apartment throughout your stay. **THE BATHROOM** One full bathroom with a spacious shower, shared by both bedrooms. There is only one.
