Gillade: Renlighet, bekvämligheter och boendets skick och faciliteter
Great place. Downside is that you need to take a bus to and from central Florence unless you really enjoy long walks. We arrived after darkness had set in (late November) and struggled a bit finding our cabin in the dark.
It was however super clean and tidy and well maintained. The staff is very nice and friendly and helpful.
We used the shuttle bus service several days to get into Florence and it was perfect. Always on time and the driver was super nice and cheerful.
There’s a military area next to the camping site and sometimes they play sounds over their PA-system. Once in the morning and once in the evening I think. One of the sounds was the italian anthem.
The sound is only a minute or so and we just thought it was fun but if you’re very easily disturbed maybe you’ll be annoyed by this.
The hotel has a supermarket that has everything you need in terms of food and a restaurant.
All in all a great hotel/camping site. And as I said, the only real downside is the location but if you arrive by car I guess that’s probably a good thing as driving in the city centre is quite chaotic.
