Gillade: Boendets skick och faciliteter
Worst three nights sleep ever...
We stayed in the A room on the upper floor. The first thing I noticed when I entered the room is that the bath tub was grubby and was in needed of a good clean.
The sink tap was very loose. When you moved the handle to adjust temperature and/or flow the whole tap too.
When I first went you use the shower only the outer ring of the rain fall shower worked. I noticed that all the other 20-30 other small holes were blocked with either a cleaning product that had dried or from lime scale. Either way it took me about 10 minutes to completely unblock the rest of the shower head so it was functioning normally again.
It didn't matter how you stood/cleaned in the shower the small shower mat would be soaked which meant you had to squeeze it out after each shower and hang it up the dry and then mop of the remaining water.
We didn't realise when we booked that the B&B had dorm room!
The room obviously didn't have a common area to allow for conversation as all the occupants stood outside of the room at all times of the day/evening. People were coming in and out of the dorm room slamming doors and to make things worse opening and slamming the doors and to make things worse opening and slamming the communal bathroom door opposite the dorm and wall to wall with our room.
The noise from the dorm was constant and kept waking us up throughout the night.
Breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. They made a fresh coffee of your choice which was a nice touch.
