âPerfect stay. Hosts very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed just the one night as part of a road trip, visiting from the UK and found the Colonel Williams Inn a refreshing change from the larger corporate hotels and would have been more than happy to stay longer.â
âGood location next to a creek in charming little Wilmington. But rooms are very small and basic. No glas, no bed table or bed lamp. Had to ask the downstair restaurant for WiFi access - but it didnât reach up to the rooms.
The downstairs restaurant seemed really nice but we came on a Sunday so there were no live music and it closed at 9 pm.
Without breakfast included it wasnât the best deal for us. â
âThe inn was located on a beautiful piece of property offering peaceful scenery, lovely gardens, charming ponds and quaint buildings. Our young family stayed here for two nights in July. We found the inn a perfect getaway for us and our 4 year old daughter. We enjoyed the pool, the restaurants were great and the nearby towns offered plenty to see and do. We highly recommend staying here and we canât wait to visit again! â

Everything about this place was PERFECT! we had the most beautiful room, the surroundings were perfect for a nice walk, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so friendly!
There is no doubt in our minds we'll be going back here.
PS. Note that this B&B is located in Wilmington, VT and not in Brattleboro like our GPS tried to lead us to. It was pure luck we found it.â
