  • "Västkuststil möter östkustens vibbar på" Saylors 'Malibu "på Folly Beach. Nyrenoverat av ett av Charlestons bästa team, atmosfären och strandutsikten i detta hem är verkligen oöverträffad. Gästerna bokstavligen sitter på stranden och njuter av panoramautsikt över tvättområdet och Atlanten från alla rum i huset.

    Det expansiva vardagsrummet, köket och matplatsen har infällda akustiska tak som ger utrymmet en otrolig dimension. Det moderna köket har en otrolig anpassad bar tillverkad av levande kantträ, stort kylskåp och rostfria apparater, perfekt för att förbereda ett sommarligt mellanmål eller en cocktail efter en dag i solen. När det är dags för middag finns det plats för hela familjen runt det underbara skräddarsydda matbordet på 10 personer.

    Utanför kan du njuta av Folly legendariska soluppgångar på de två enorma verandorna eller luta dig tillbaka på det skuggiga undre däck för att titta på bränningen eller njuta av en tupplur i hängmattan. Centralt beläget bara en kort bilresa till Folly Pier, eller ett kvarter till bästa surfing och vågor på ön, kanske du aldrig vill lämna. Det övre våningen har tillgång från alla rum på andra våningen och en havssida utomhusdusch - ett perfekt sätt att börja dagen!

    Välutrustade med fem sovrum och fem badrum, det finns gott om plats för alla på denna semester. Med alla nya sängar, sängkläder och möbler har varje rum och bad unika detaljer men med samma vackra utsikt över Atlanten! Befälhavaren svit erbjuder skjutdörrar ut till balkongen på andra nivå och ett lyxigt badrum med en anpassad dusch med hypnotiska anpassade brickor.

    Beläget i slutet av en mycket lugn culdesac, kommer gästerna på Saylors Malibu att njuta av gott om parkering, med minimal buller och trafik. Gästerna är bara en kort tur till middags- och sociala navet i Center Street, eller en äventyrlig kajak eller båtcharter på Folly River.

Everything with this host and house were perfect and seamless. My group and I suddenly got cancelled on by a different property management company on the Monday before a Thursday trip, and this house fell into our lap and it was the best

Great house in Folly Beach...

This house was wonderful with all that you might need for your stay. Very spacious as we had our three teenage daughters and my mother in law with us. Beautiful view and easy walk to beach as house sits directly on it. Would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely amazing property!

This house was perfect for our group of 11 - the bedrooms upstairs all have access to the deck with a view of the ocean and there was plenty of space for our group to hang out together. Would definitely recommend this for a big family or friend group who appreciate being on the ocean.

So good, we booked it again!!

We had an amazing time!! We spend every year the same week at Folly, and this was by far the best house we have stayed at. From the bedrooms, to the family room, to porches and beach access. We couldn’t ask for a better family stay! We loved it so much we booked the house for next year before we even left!!! Can’t wait to be back next year!

Gorgeous location, that is 100% true. However, the photos are not representative of the current state of the property. It is in need of some TLC as there are many things that need upkeep (e.g. chipped paint, raised nails on the deck, cracks and and some water damage). This is still a nice home, but thought it would be in better shape given the daily rate. One request for the owner is that a new grill is needed. Could barely cook a hotdog with it, did not even try a more expensive piece of meat. The Dunes Property company was very helpful though, although there was a snag in the check-in, but they remedied it quickly (however had a moment of panic at 9pm while trying to get the keys).

Ideal beach getaway

Saylor's Malibu provided a perfect venue for a group of lifelong friends to gather for our annual reunion. We toured the historic Charleston area, enjoyed long walks on the beach, and just hung out together at the house. You truly cannot beat the view!

We lovers our stay, the view out the windows was spectacular and having a bath room for each bed room was really nice. I would rent this place again, in fact I checked with the company to see if they would sell it. .

What comfortable beds! We're concerned that the house won't be here much longer, though, as high tide literally washes around the car port. Our only real regret is that we only stayed six nights!

Amazing house and location

Beautiful house directly on the beach. Amazing surfing right outside the house. Sat on the deck in the mornings and evenings watching the waves and surfers. The host was amazing and gave us a partial refund because the town was rebuilding the beach in front of the house for part of our stay (part of a Folly-wide project the summer of 2024), which I am sure is done by now. Would absolutely rent this house again.

You do not get what you pay for.

Perfect location. Other than that, the house was a disappointment. Was not cleaned very well when we arrived. House is in desperate need of upgrades, seems as if owner just stopped caring. Couch was filthy and that was about the only comfortable seating in common area. Just not worth the price you pay. Many other rentals to choose from that are more well maintained at a better price. Could be spectacular if some effort was put into the interior. Would not stay here again unless the house has been given some serious TLC.

Wonderful Location

The house was in a perfect spot. You should have some one managing the maintenance request for Saturday check ins. Waiting until Monday is to long for showers handles to be replaces and TV cords missing. Once you got the notice everything was fine but you lose 2 days waiting. I also know it is the end of the season but the house needs some maintenance. Plugs in the bathroom not working, tears in the screens, dirty around the edges, carpets need replaces, towels had stains, garage disposal barely functions, etc... The house is in a great spot and kitchen was well equipped. I actually would stay there again if in the area. You added silverware and cups upon request which was a great help. The office people are extremely nice and very helpful when in the office. Thank you for having us.

House has a lot of deferred maintenance

I get it .. house is ocean front and gets beat up by the weather and by renters. But this house had an excessive amount of deferred maintenance. One bed was broken. The refrigerator door had all shelves removed and hence had no door storage. There were five (not one, five) lightbulbs that were out that needed replacement. The trash can holder in the cabinetry was broken -- when you pulled it out to throw away the trash, the entire wooden fixture fell onto the kitchen floor. We had rain and there were major leaks in the main living room (we head to put a trash can underneath it) and the first floor bedroom. In the kitchen, there were no kitchen linens, no potholders and no metal spatula for grilling. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. House was clean, location was great, but with all the deferred maintenance and just poor attention to fundamentals (lightbulbs, kitchen utensils), we give it a three.

Beach Version of Ski in-Ski out

We had a wonderful time in Folly Beach and the house was responsible for most of it. It is literally the beach version of ski in, ski out. We woke up and either enjoyed the sunrise and beach from the master bedroom with views of the beach on 3 sides, or one of two decks, or we walked 5 feet to the beach. We ventured a number of times to Charleston for dinner but outside of that, the house had everything we needed. And, Bert’s Market is amazing (I’m craving one of their cheeseburgers right now).

Saylor's Malibu Stay

The house was amazing and the views from nearly every room of the house could not be beat! Beach access was incredibly convenient and the beach directly in front of the house never got crowded and felt very private. The house if far from pretty much everything, so I would definitely recommend either having a car (if you need to get far distances) or renting a golf cart to make your way around the Folly area.
