“Great location for a getaway. Stockbridge was a hidden gem for us. Well kept pub type hotel with a large room and at a good price. Decent breakfast.”

“We had a lovely stay at The Great Decoy. The weather was horrible unfortunately, but the pub was very cosy and welcoming with lovely open fires. Lovely food, great decor, lovely attention to detail including the gorgeous smelling toiletries provided. The bed was very comfy with lovely bedding. We will definitely return and also try out other pubs in the Chickpea Group.”

“Absolutely fantastic staf, hotel bar and restaurant. Great family room with 2 separate bedrooms and a staf that really made a difference. 10 points!”

“I couldn't make one single negative comment about this place, it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were first rate and the pool was a great bonus. The views in every direction were stunning.”

“Very welcoming with helpful and friendly staff. Good and varied dinner menu and a good choice selection of cooked or light breakfast. Location is out of the way down narrow lanes but the pretty village setting is both quiet and peaceful.”

“A golf hotel with handicapped bedrooms available. Disappointing food quality at the clubhouse restaurant.”

“Trevligt o fräscht rum. Dock mycket trafik då motorvägen går nära. Nära till Highclere castle. God mat o trevlig personal!”

“Fint rum! Kort om personal vid incheckningen & vi hade problem med rummet, blev dock kompenserade med frukost vilket vi blev nöjda med! Förövrigt härlig atmosfär, häftig inredning i lobbyn. ”

“We were there during the heatwave and got the last room. Unfortunatly the air condition didn't work = warm room but managable.”

“Knöligt att ta sig dit, knarrig säng, ingen hiss och luktade extremt mycket klor. Det vägdes upp lite av att det var väldigt tyst”

“Boendet ligger en bit utanför stadskärnan, men det tog 10-15 min att gå dit. Vi hann med en snabb spa-vistelse där de hade bastu, bassäng och bubbelpool. Parkeringsmöjligheter direkt utanför hotellet finns.”
