Welcome to Driftway Cottage, a tranquil dockside getaway on a quiet lagoon of the Barnegat Bay. From kayaking down the neighborhood in the warmer months to bundling up around the fire pit in the cooler months, we welcome you to experience all the fun and relaxing things about this waterfront vacation home.

We’ve come to discover that Forked River is such a hidden gem of the Jersey Shore. It is a place that relaxes, inspires, brings friends and family together and offers lots of fun out on the water.

Some of our favorite things to do are: take in a backyard sunset while cheers’ing to a great day, walk down the street along the expansive bird sanctuary with views of the open bay and Barnegat Lighthouse, enjoy the local dock and dine restaurants nearby and relax while curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee in the sunroom. There are many things to do in the area if you are interested in filling your day with activities and restaurants, such as checking out Argos Farm, Lake Barnegat, bay beaches, Popcorn Zoo, bike trails and Captains Inn. If you would rather hang at the house, we have kayaks, tubes, cornhole, a fire pit, a grill, games and books included in your stay.
