Jughandle Coast Fritidshus

Detta hem är bekvämt beläget mellan Fort Bragg (5 minuter) och byn Mendocino (10 minuter). Beläget 1/4 mil från stranden, är också nära till statliga parker hemmet (Jug Handle, Russian Gulch, Redwood Forest, Van Damm och McKerricher) som är särskilt bra för vandring, cykling och tillgång till stranden.

Hemmet är mycket privat, som ligger på två trädbevuxen tunnland. En gräsplan mynnar i en äng omgiven av skogsstig, tall och gran. Huset har takhöjden och varma trägolv i hela, ett fullt utrustat kök, kabel-TV / video, CD-spelare, telefon, toasty vedspis med ett glasfönster för middagar i eldskenet, och en stor tillbaka & skarndäck med uteservering och en grill för grillning.

Detta Mendocino hus har en kung, en drottning, och två rulla sängar (var och en av dessa bäddar kan sova två singlar eller göra till drottning storlek sängar). All ved, sängkläder, köksutrustning och sängkläder är till för din bekvämlighet samt en tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Bärbar spjälsäng finns.

The place was clean the instructions about the lock were clear. Everything until the last night when the power went off due to a major Atmospheric River, but we heard from the host first thing in the morning and it was much appreciated.

The home is unassuming from the outside. However inside it is very homey, and the windows and skylights make it feel as though you are part of the natural surroundings. Great kitchen amenities. Very comfortable king bed.Very clean.Quiet and private. Just what we needed!

The cabin was perfect for the 5 of us. Two adult couples and one toddler. The property is fun for littles to explore. The house is cozy and well stocked. My only criticism is extremely minor. There were only 3 hangers in each bedroom closet. I like to hang my close when I travel and 3 hangers didn’t go far. We would definitely book here again!

Amazing stay

We had a lovely time at the property. It was very well equipped and in a great location for the botanical gardens, Mendocino and Big river. Jug handle beach was beautiful. Recommended.

We enjoyed our time in this charming home. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, utensils, and anything we needed to cook when preparing meals. It was always nice to come back to this very quiet retreat in the afternoon but still close enough to get into town if we wanted. Very calming to look out in the yard.

We had a great stay here! The place was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we got into a car crash on our way to the house, but arriving at such a peaceful and comfortable space really made a tough day a lot better. Magical Gem!

What a magical gem this place is! My family of four (2 adults, 2 children) absolutely loved this home and property. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, glassware, etc. We loved the selection of board games and their House Folder had a ton of information on what to do around the area. The amount of windows and skylights in the home brought in natural lighting througought the day and we loved having the windows open to allow the cool breeze to flow throughout. In the evening, we enjoyed cozy fires in the wood burning stove. Our favoirte part however, was the grounds! This was just magical! We had so much fun playing with our imagination in this beautiful "realm" of redwoods, cypress, blackberries, rhododendrons, huckleberry, foxglove, daisies, ferns, pine, and so much more. These memories will stay with us forever. We will definitely be back to stay here again! Thank you Matt and Cathy for sharing this special place!

Excellent stay in Fort Bragg

I've stayed in many rental homes over the years and have found this home to be the most comfortable and well appointed of any I have ever stayed at. There is no unnecessary clutter and it is easy to make yourself comfortable here. It is very organized and you can easily find anything you need within the home. We recommend this home without any hesitations.

Perfect Stay

What a great experience! We has so much fun exploring the property. The home was appointed quite well...everything from comfy beds, very functional kitchen and a washer/dryer which is always a plus on a beach vacation. We enjoyed the peace of being in the country but still 10 minutes from everything in town. Having a state beach less than a mile away was great! In the evenings we enjoyed a fire in the wood stove that had plenty of firewood waiting for us. Communication with the hosts was perfect. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us Matt and Cathy! Looking forward to our next visit.

Joy at Jughandle

This was the 2nd time my two grown sons and I have stayed at this Jughandle house while visiting Ft. Bragg.Once again, we found that the house met our needs perfectly.Owners, Matt and Kathy, have appointed the place beautifully and stocked it completely. We would stay there again without hesitation.
