âWe absolutely loved our stay in Kittery, the Inn Keepers were friendly and fabulous! We loved the clean room awesome continental breakfast!!!l We loved the nostalgia of this quaint quiet Inn , enjoyed the salt water pool and met some very cool people also only a few miles from Starbucks!! âThe SailMaker House is a cozy hotel that is very representative of the local buildings. It is on a quiet side street but a 3 minute walk to the downtown shopping area. There are lots of excellent food options, very cute boutiques and 2nd hand stores, lots of music venues and bars. The nearby park (5 min walk) offers summer concerts outdoors - a very chill vibe.

âGreat location. Very good condition. Shower control has flow control too. I hate hotels where you can't control the flow. We did tell the hotel. It would be nice if they had more towel racks or hooks in the bathroom to hang the bathtubs. Also, if you don't want to pay the valet service you can just drive your car yourself to the Foundry garage 3 blocks away. Breakfast was good. âThe room and grounds were beautifully kept. The room was more like a suite. I don't know if they are all like that. We had a private screened in porch with seating, a lovely bedroom area with a King bed and soft. luxurious sheets. There was also a sitting or small living room area with a refrigerator and a beautifully done, renovated bathroom. The Inn was walking distance to the center of town. We highly recommend this Inn. It was a true find.â
