“We stayed for one night when visiting the Henry Ford museum. The room was not that large but it was clean, only queensize bed. Wifi was free and worked well, parking free and it is safe. Breakfast included but not that much to chose from. Staff was helpful.”

“So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. “This is a good hotel with friendly staff located in a calm area with shops like Target and Macy's nearby. The hotel is new with friendly staff and clean rooms with Home2 Suites standard. New and modern Tv. The hallways was also clean and smelled good. Elevator was modern, new and smelled good. Breakfast area was not crowdy and well organized with good options. Only issue was that the soap was empty in the shower two days in a row.
