We stayed in this hotel several times few years back and it definitely has not been maintained to the same standards. The first room they gave us upon check in was never cleaned, the bed was not made, dirt on the floors and garbage in the can, dirty towels on the floor. The second room they gave us the walls were dirty, the furniture was from a 1970's-yard sale and the air conditioner made noise I never heard on make. There was even a rooster on the property that crowed all night long. Good thing I brought ear plugs so it blocked the noise. The rear of the building looked like a dump site. It also had what appeared to be a creeper van convention in the back parking lot. My wife even had to see a large man with his blinds open on the first floor walking around in his underwear. There was not a working ice machine on any of the floors and the one on the 4th floor had cobwebs growing in it along with a sock. The pool bar according to the front desk had not been opened in a year. The best part was the friendliness of the staff. I will not stay in this hotel again.

The room wasn´t what we paid for!! They had a room for us, but it was flodded. They changed us but with a room with only one bed, with no sofa-bed as requested and paid!!

Very, very disappointed in this booking and would not recommend it. I checked into room 221 on May 4 and found that water was leaking onto the floor into the room on the left side of the vanity beside the bed. I went to the reception and was given a new room 140. Upon entering the room the only light working for the entire bedroom was the overhead light in the ceiling above the door. The table lamp between the beds not working. Called the front desk and they said maintenance man not on duty and would not be available until after 10 pm if they called him in. Asked them to put in a work request to correct first thing in the morning on May 5. They said they would do. No table nor a chair in the entire room - only place to sit down was on the bed. Bathtub rusting out and all doors rotten out and force necessary to close. Walls cracked. Just an old, old building that is not well maintained. Water pressure and a/c ok. New table lamp replaced upon calling again on Sunday evening. Outside grounds had litter on drive ways. Rooms were once smoking rooms but no longer but can still smell traces of tobacco usage.

Walk to the room was terrible as AC water dripped on the Corridor and it had molds and wetness that i didn't want my suitcase wheels to roll through, The bathroom doorframe was busted, the toilet bowl was shaking when you sit on it. Refrigerator was severely rusted and belong in the garbage. The plug on the iron was cut off so i was unable to iron call front desk waited all night and no one came. In the morning went to front desk early in the morning no one was there only a sign that says contact maintainable in case of an emergency with a number. There are no phones in the room so if you don’t walk to front desk you wouldn’t know how to get a hold of anyone as front desk opened until 8:00 AM. Worse if you are not from America and have a phone plan the wifi not strong enough for even Whatsapp to work. Only stayed because everything around the area was booked up. Went to get food and when i returned was greeted by roaches on the floor. Persons had these humongous size dogs on property that barked the entire night. Imagine you have a phobia for dogs and you stuck riding in an elevator with one.

Our room was had a moldy smell the towels were old and stained of gray and they were supposed to be white. The Door hinges Were loose and unsafe. They false advertise breakfast there was none. And the Atmosphere of the people coming around was unsafe. There was no Security insight.

I actually liked the hotel,the location was great, the price was also great. If i had anything to complain about is that the pool was always filthy,other than that it was cool i would definitely stay there again.

Do not book, read this first. First and foremost, not for children. This place has extended stay and most people seem to live there. If marijuana smell bothers you, don't stay here, it was being smoked freely on the property. The rooms are smelly of cigarettes, mildew, cannabis smoking, and just overall unpleasant oders. The corridors around the rooms are so dirty, I preferred to carry my 18lb dog instead of letting him walk on those floors. I wouldn't even stay here as a pit stop to shower. One of the people in my party is asthmatic and couldn't be in either of the rooms that I was given. Overall the property feels unsafe and unhealthy. We asked for a refund and left. I'm still waiting for my refund. The front desk clerk Antonio is very profesional and was very kind, he is the best part of that place. The immediate surrounding area is good, there are lots of places to shop.

We've stayed at the same hotel few years ago, it was great with good service and the rooms were all in nice condition. We booked this hotel again to stay a night prior to our cruise trip. When we arrived at hotel at 9pm, the front desk n door are both closed. There is no door bell or phone to call the front desk. We had to turn on our data romaing to call the hotel. Finally, few minutes later, someone came to help us with check-in process. The room condition is bad. The AC blows old and semlly air that made us feel sick the next day. There is no phone in the room to call front desk or house keeping either. With three people stay in the room, they only provide one set of towels and no shampoo, soap or conditioner either. We have to walk to the front desk and finally got someone there to give us those. I also saw few cockroaches around the washroom and fridge areas. Overall experience during this stay was poor. Don't think we would come back again.

The property is old and worn down, the pictures are not current. Someone had stolen the tv from the room, didn't get one until 2nd day, didn't work until 3rd day. Mini fridge had broke seal, overnight defrosted icebox and leaked all over the floor, I pulled a leg muscle when I slipped in the water. Sheets were dirty, light switch inside door was not even close to being building code accepted (outdoor light switch box held to door frame by two brackets), visible patch jobs on ceiling, dirty walls, worn surface of bathtub, pot smoked outside of room pulled in by air conditioner, overall the place needs a remodel. Staff was accommodating and authorized a refund that I need to get from Expedia.

The room smelled like ammonia with the air conditioner on. The walls were bruised. The bathroom ceiling had mold. The mini fridge and microwave were cheap. There was no phone in the room to even call the front desk. You can hear footsteps a little and chairs moving on the floor in the room above you. The toilet was clean. The bathroom sink was clean. The bed was clean. The floor was clean. The TV was decent with limited channels ( there was blank channels in between switching). The best part of the whole experience was the hot water from the shower. All in all I won't stay here again. Only worth it for a very quick stay. You get what you pay for I guess.

By far the worst hotel I have ever booked. I was there no more than 20 minutes and requested a refund which was guaranteed by the front desk agent. Now I am being told a refund cannot be issued due to their policy. The place was moldy, the toilet had urine on the seat. There appeared to be drug dealers on the property and when I my husband and I were leaving we saw police walking around the place while holding on to their gun. I had to book another hotel for my trip. I will NEVER recommend Hotolos Hotel.
