Good grief! I entered the lobby to check in and the woman at the front desk told me she would be right back - then she walked away!!! She did what she needed to do, and then came back after three - five minutes or so. You might say, "well, it was only a few minutes", but my question is, "why the hell did she walk away from me when I was checking in?" That's ridiculous! Some customer service training is needed at the front desk. The fire alarm went off the next day sometime around 6am. It appeared as though the smoke was coming from the breakfast area, so perhaps someones waffle or bagel was burning. It was an inconvenience, since I had to move my 92-year-old mother the following day and sleeping soundly was imperative. One of the lights was out in the room. You could see the hole in the wall where multiple attempts had been made to affix the toilet paper roll holder into the wall. The holder came off while I was there. It sounded like toilets were flushing and showers were being turned on and off all night long. I finally realized that it was the toilet in the room that was running all night. Water wasn't pooling in the bowl, but the toilet was running all night. Flappers don't cost that much, BTW.
I liked the size of the room since I had plenty of room to stretch out.
