Property advertised on Expedia and booked based on photos showing a 500sq ft family room with a kitchen area. What I got was not what I booked. The 1st room I was given was filthy, old and damaged, photos taken and went to reception to show them and said its not habitable, not what I booked online and informed them I wouldn't spend a night in the room. A 2nd room was provided, so I changed rooms. The 2nd room was dirty, the wardrobe was fixed shut so nowhere to hand clothes, no kitchen, just a microwave and fridge. It gets better! No toilet role holder and no blond in the toilet window so using the bathroom and toilet you were viewed by the apartments opposite, passing people and people swimming in the pool opposite. I was tired, spent 1 night then checked out, I complained to the Manager of the hotel, showed him the photos. He offered me a 3rd room, I refused based off thevexperience wuth the previous 2 rooms. I was informed I would not receive a refund for the other 6 nights I had paid for. Be aware that thus is fakse advertising by Expedia and the Neptune Hotel! The Neptune hotel also charge $50 a day cleaning fee! What a joke! I raised this with Expedia which I thought was a reputable company and they offered me $125 refund! If you book a cruise ship and get a fishing boat this is false advertising! If you book a 509sq ft modern looking family suit with a kitchen and get what I got this is false advertising! Also the whole are smells of drugs being smoked!

I didnt like hidden fees and taxes which cost more than the room itself. I shouldnt have to pay $29/night to park on their own property and a $50/night cleaning fee is a joke. One person was staying for 10 nights, so all of these extra fees were more than $1000. Lastly, I saw a roach on the kitchen sink. I do not have roaches. There was no food to draw it in. Thank God I kept my suitcases closed at all times. Had to totally take everything out of my carry on, shake out bag, and check every single item I put back in to make sure I dont take their roaches home with me. This place could be great, but deceiving people is no way to get repeat business.

Great for the convenient location with the Boardwalk being directly accessible. I did notice a few small bugs in my room. The parking wasn’t the best directly at my building but there was space for additional parking by the next building. Overall, I’d book again for the convenience of the location.

It was super old, but the worst part was sleeping with a cockroaches in one room. Yes I killed 8 cockroaches during my sleepless night. Next day morning I complained about it and front desk staff acted like this is the first time hearing something like that. Just said sorry. Don't get me wrong with pricing by the way. It was low price on Expedia but after paying $80 to Expedia at the property I paid $55 service fee and $20 to park on the street that belongs to hotel, and I paid the the total of $155 which is high for sleeping with cockroaches. I had many better options for this price.

The location is great. Right on the boardwalk. Amenities and property conditions are poor. A/C (window unit) is super loud, bathroom is very small and crampy. Resort fee $50 tax per night Parking fee $18 tax per night. There’s an unexpected up charge from Expedia as well. We booked a studio room w/ King bed for 2 guests. Was charged $75 fee for extra guest. What the Hell… Expedia?

Their website does not properly explain all the additional expenses such as an $18 parking fee and a fee to use towels and a fee charged of $50 just to clean the room. Parking highly inconvenient and you are forced to park on a city street and pay a fee to do so. I Would Never again stay at any property owned by Hollywood Beach Hotels or HBH management especially this property called the Neptune..

Cleaning fees of 50USD PER DAY which are not included when booking on Expedia. The Hotel imposed those fees on us and we were told by other clients that it was not compulsory. We could have declined. The Hotel management imposed this fee and did not offer to opt for partial or intermittent service. Moreover, there was an envelope for tip in the bedroom. That was quite the insult. Never recommending or using Expedia again, as we have no more protection, prescreening service or customer support on their part There is no incentive in booking through them I do much better on my own.

Las condiciones de las habitaciones no son las mejores. Todos los muebles , electrodomèsticos y cortinas son viejos. Las puertas estàn oxidadas al igual que muchas partes metàlicas del exterior que se notan que no se les da mantenimiento.La caja de seguridad no servìa.El baño estaba en muy malas condiciones necesita una renovaciòn de caracter urgente al igual que las paredes del inmueble. El personal que trabaja no es para nada agradable , ni servicial .El desayuno estaba pèsimo, muy mala higiene en el area que se sirve el mismo.Lo unico bueno es la locaciòn del inmueble.

This property definitely needs upgrading. We had ants in the bathroom and one of the lamps sparked and went out. We reported it immediately and 2 days later they removed it, did not replace it. No blow-dryer in the room. Coffee pot in the room, but no coffee or cups, we were told we could purchase them if we wanted some. No shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc... Air conditioner worked sporadically.

I really love this hotel. It’s not the Hilton but the beds and linens are comfy. It’s super clean and 5 steps from the beach. You really can’t beat this price and location. Like I paid $80 for a room with taxes and fees included. Walking distance to everything. Safe for families. Super chill.

It’s not a luxurious property but it is a comfortable place to spend a few days in a beautiful area. WiFi is a little slow but it works fine and same can be said of almost everything in the property.

The Neptune is in a terribly sad state of disrepair--that's putting it nicely. When we checked in, the desk person, instead of answering the repeated phone calls she was receiving (phone was literally ringing off the hook continuously) she kept hitting the button to hang up w/o answering. This should've been our 1st red flag. On the paperwork it states that there are absolutely no refunds or cancelations, period; 2nd red flag. The 5 star reviews on here are literally being purchased by the company; there's a sign that says if you leave a 5 star review, you could win a free towel rental ($20 otherwise) among other "prizes" on a wheel that you can spin. In the room, there were exactly 2 bath towels, no hand towel or paper towels, empty cupboards (advertised w/a working kitchenette,) a rusty metal shelf w/peeling paint in the bathroom that had a falling-apart door handle that I'd be afraid to close, for fear of getting locked in & a spring mattress w/troughs on both sides/a hard support running down the middle, creating a hump. We actually considered sleeping in our rental car due to the awful state of the room. I have absolutely no clue how this hotel is rated on a "3 star level"--1 star is too much for the Neptune IMO. The $50 addtn'l cleaning fee on top of a $50 "resort fee/per night," is absolutely nuts--if I can attach pics, I will. Otherwise, imagine caked dirt on the air vent's face/lamps, duct taped window air unit & halfa** repairwork all over the room. Beach looked ok.

Not worth the rate paid at all. A/C didn't work, poor property maintenance and condition. Had to stay here out of necessity. Booked room for two nights and left after the first. Didn't bother asking for a refund, that's not their policy.

All staff were rude, refused to give us what we paid for, hotel charged us over $700 in additional fees including incidentals, had to pay to use the towels. We had no AC, No working Outlets, no working oven/ stove, no cookware, no working toaster. Our windows didn’t open to get air. From desk staff was disrespectful and had absolutely zero customer service. We paid extra money for an ocean view and they originally gave me the keys for and then before finishing check out they changed it and said I have you an extra bed instead…. Our room was 3 blocks from the check in location, no stores close by. All around the entire trip was miserable. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. The ads stated there was continental breakfast and there wasn’t, the ads didn’t state there as going to be $40 additional fee per day per guest and $100 additional per guest per day for incidental’s along with $20 towel fees per TOWEL. The confirmation email received after booking told us the information after booking and the rates were different from what the disrespectful chick at the desk made us pay. Literally the WORST experience ever! Also, I’d like to add that a day after being in our miserable room they assigned another guest to the room and they walked in with me and kids in the room. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE.
