“I was very comfortable at this hotel. Nice and clean room and I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast. The location is very good, in the middle of town the main street in town. The best thing about the hotel is that the restaurant/pub is a perfect place to eat and have a beer for a business traveller. No need to leave the hotel for eating, the food here is excellent and very affordable - and the athmosphere is very nice. Also: the new coffee place in the lobby is another great plus...

“The breakfast menu was awesome. Amanda is an amazing cook ! I stayed at the Amberson House for 3 nights and was very happy about my experience there. The house its self is a beatiful old home and funished beautifully wth antiques . Everone was very welcoming and friendly. ”

“The rooms at the front of the property were near the highway. The street noise made it difficult to sleep or even relax. I was booked for 2 nights and when I asked to check out after one night, the manager quickly changed my room so it was quieter. He was concerned that I wouod not find alternative accomadations over the holiday weekend and at the last minute.”

Not a deal breaker, but the elevator had a weird number system.....Read the sign in the elevator.....our room was 300 something, but you had to push #2 floor and we were on the 2nd floor. “Took a deposit of 50$ and it has been close to a month now and still have not received my deposit back yet called the hotel and was told the system is down. Never asked for my phone number to call me back and rectify the situation feel like I was being blown off. Will never stay here again. Also found live cockroaches crawling in the bathroom absolutely disgusting. Bathroom was dirty had to go buy chemicals and clean it myself.”

“Outstanding stay at a historic Frank Furness summer home/mansion built in 1901 with a vintage Steinway piano (that guests are welcome to play!) “Nice hotel. Large double bed room, and comfortable beds. One complaint was the room was poorly lit; we had to use our phone flashlights a couple of times, eg to see how to set the microwave. The bathroom was large and elegant, but the tissue box only had a couple of tissues remaining, with no replacement in the room.”

“Front Desk is extremely helpful and quick to resolve issues i had during my week long stay Shower and bathroom are the best maintained parts of my room, was disappointed to see several large cobwebs in all the corners of the ceiling in the rest of the room. Dishwasher and several kitchen towels are provided along with a decent sink but no soap to be found in the room.”
