  • Destin West gulf side 515. Incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico await from this high-floor, beachfront one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo. This rustic-industrial, chic condo is the perfect place to relax after a long day in the sun or admire views of our beautiful emerald coast.

    This beautiful beachfront vacation rental includes a master en suite, bunk room, and sleeper sofa in the living room, making it perfect for groups who want to relax in privacy. Each room includes an entertainment center and there are two separate baths. The condominium is fully painted and updated.

    Additional amenities for the condo include a full kitchen, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a private high-floor balcony. Guests of Gulf 515 enjoy resort's private beach and bay access, fishing pier and marina, 7 swimming pools, 3 hot tubs, lazy river and fitness center.

We had an amazing family vacation at Destin West! The property was very family-friendly and had almost everything we needed for a fun day at the beach. It was especially convenient having beach gear available, although we didn't realize there were beach chairs inside the condo until later. The only minor issues we had were that the TV in the bunk bed room wasn't working, and it took us a couple of tries to figure out the room entry system. You have to enter the numeric button first and then your room number, which wasn't immediately obvious, but once we figured it out, it was easy to use. The technology was actually pretty advanced. Also, during our stay, only one elevator was operating, which caused some delays. Other than those small issues, everything met our expectations. We had the best family vacation, really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back again. We highly recommend Destin West for families looking for a fun and relaxing beach getaway!

Great Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our room was very close to the parking garage making it easy to get to our car and the elevator! We had a beautiful view of the pool and the beach! Most comfortable bed ever! I was going to take a picture of the brand of mattress topper but I forgot! I would love to know what it is! The staff were friendly and helpful! The lazy River was big with plenty of floats! There were several restaurants within walking distance as well as gift shops! Grocery store near by as well as a pharmacy and Walmart! Even though road construction was underway, it was easy to get in and out of the condo! Had a great walkway to the beach right off the pool. 🏊‍♂️ It was a great stay! Highly recommend it! (Our room 515, needs a pan to cook in the oven. We didn’t check before we grocery shopped to make sure there was a cookie sheet!) the room was very clean, roomy with two full bathrooms! I highly recommend it!

The directions on where to park and find the carts to get to our car in the parking garage could have been better. The condo was nice and had a good view but someone must have gone in and used the main bathroom because there was poop in the toilet and a spray film like sunscreen all over the bathroom counter. Maybe someone had the code after the maid cleaned and used the bathroom. The dark colored stained mats in the bathroom were off putting as well - they were not necessary and made me wonder how clean the rest of the condo would be. The king-sized bed had an oversized extra padding on it that was too big for the bed. We did however enjoy the well-stocked kitchen and the fact that there was another smaller bathroom and a pull-out couch. The bunk beds looked like they'd be great for kids but small for adults. I think next time we will look for a 2 bedroom condo for the same price we paid for this one. It turned out to be about 300 per night with all the fees going through VRBO and this was in May before the summer rates went up. The umbrella and chairs on the beach were a great amenity, and the choice of pools to use including the lazy river was very nice.
