This wonderful Gulf-front rental has a commanding view of the mesmerizing Gulf of Mexico. The living room will provide you access to this wonderful private balcony. You will enjoy sitting on the balcony which is furnished with chairs and a table for your comfort and enjoyment. The floor-to-ceiling patio doors enhance your view of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen comes equipped with all the comforts of home, including a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All the utensils needed to prepare and serve meals are supplied for your convenience. If you elect to not eat in, then there are many wonderful restaurants located nearby; as well as shopping, available in Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Florida. This unit has three TVs, two DVD players, and a CD stereo system located in the living room. Island Princess is located directly on the snow-white sands on Okaloosa Island, just steps from the most sought-after waters of the Gulf Coast. On-site, enjoy the hot tub and heated outdoor pool, as well as a fitness center. The relaxing and welcoming atmosphere of Island Princess will easily make it your go-to vacation destination for years to come.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Beach service (two chairs and one umbrella) is available from March 1 - October 31.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The furniture in the condo is dirty. The throw rug in the living room was very dirty and the carpet in the bedrooms were filthy dirty and very gross! The condo owner needs to get rid of the carpeting and put tile floors in. The bathroom shower in the master bedroom was backed up and the shower filled with water. The he other bathroom shower the water temperature was difficult to regulate needs new faucet. Other than that it was enjoyable outside on the beach.

The staff in charge of cleaning, do not clean well. Your feet are immediately black when walking barefoot through the condo. The shower had clumps and clumps of hair all over the shower wall. Other than the cleanliness, the rest of the condo is nice. It is decorated beautifully. And great location. I believe the cleaning is no fault to the owner, that is just the cleaning company's carelessness.

Fall Break vacation

It was very clean and we had everything we needed. The view was amazing and it was very peaceful and quiet the entire time. It was perfect for a mini vacation with friends and family.

Spacious two bedroom with great views.

This unit was a nice place to stay in the Fort Walton Beach area. The condo has a nice layout, terrific double wide opening doors to a straight on view of the Gulf and overall was a great location. The only thing I can say negative about it is that ALL of the beds were just horrible. The owners definitely need to replace these saggy back killers.

I felt that there are some upgrades that need to happen. Popcorn ceiling coming off, minor appliances (toaster) looks like it's from the 70's - bread doesn't fit in it. Kitchen tools need to be checked. It was not clean enough. Floors were dirty and I found a hairy razor head on the floor in master bath. I feel management needs a much more thorough cleaning crew, I'll lilkely try another company next time, just not clean enough.

Great stay!

This was a great property. We were initially attracted because of the washer/ dryer and dishwasher. The pros: it was very clean and tidy. Had plenty of towels and amenities. The price was also reasonable considering the location and season. The cons: I found the whole process a bit confusing in comparison to other stays. We booked on VRBO where we put down an initial deposit. However this listing was managed by Vacasa and we had to process the remaining charges through their system. Additionally, we didn’t receive much in the way of confirmations or instructions prior to the day before check in. It makes for a bit of an uneasy feeling while you are driving to Florida with no instructions or steps to take to check in. We had also messaged the property management team on VRBO without response. Additionally, this unit has no affiliation with the island princess office. If you call, they cannot help with any issues that arise. Would I stay here again? Yes! I just would hope to have a bit better correspondence and instructions from the property management team.

Not what we expected

Upon entering the condo it seemed to be clean and tidy. The windows were filthy and we actually saw a drip of, what we think is blood, and we had to clean it off of the window in the bedroom. Right away I noticed that there was no paper that laid out all the information we needed to enjoy our stay . This is something we have had at every condo we have ever stayed it. So as such, we had no idea how to even turn on the television. There were 3 remotes and 3 devices. It took us 20 minutes to just turn on the television. The first thing I wanted to do was take a shower. I almost killed myself because there was no shower matt and the tub is incredibly slick. We went out and bought a shower matt so we could safely take a shower. We found a shower matt under the sink behind the towels on friday. This is something that could have been put on the information sheet that we didnt recieve. There was no broom and dust pan to sweep up the sand or in case we broke something to get the glass up. Luckily we didnt break anything. If you plan on using the kitchen bring your own pans. They have some pots but only one 8inch pan. There were only 3 of us but that is way to small to cook a meal for 3. We bought a new 12 inch pan so we could cook. The wifi password was difficult to discern. It was sent to us in a text and labeled as network, nowhere was the word wifi. So we had to deduce this. Again, this could have been on the sheet that we didnt have. The furniture did not look as nice as the pictures made it look. Its old, worn out, and not comfortable. We have been coming to florida and renting a condo for 5 years now and this is the least satisfied we have been. I understand it cannot be perfect, but all of these small issues make a vacation very difficult. Please dont let anyone else go through what we did. The ability for this condo to be great is evident with just a few upgrades.

Place was dirty, bathroom door wouldn't lock, broken furniture, rusty patio furniture.

Living room furniture was so dirty and stained I didn't even want to sit on it. For as much money as these ppl charge, they need to maintain this place better. Beautiful view....but that's about it.
