Island Surf #5 was a nice condo on the 2nd floor with lots of windows and a balcony that all face the ocean. Great views! The condo was bright and up to date and is a great space for 2 people. While there were plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils, some pots and pans, serving bowls, etc., the only "food" item was a small shaker of pepper. Also, having driven several hours to get there we would have appreciated having ice in the freezer. The ice maker ended up making ice fairly quickly.
This building has only 6 units, and the adjacent bldg has 5, both with 2 floors and stair access only to the 2nd floor.
There is direct access to the gorgeous beach from the grassy yard facing the beach, several steps over the dunes then right onto the beach. Island Surf condos pays for umbrellas and nice lounge chairs to be set up daily on the beach. That was a nice perk.
I rated it lower on communication and check in because I emailed a question several days before arriving and never got an answer. We did register 6 days before arriving but never got the details of how to access the unit. The day of arrival as we were driving I was able to fortunately find a number on the site and grateful someone answered and was able to send me the details. Overall, it was a good, fun, relaxing time there.
