Loved every single thing about this condo, except for the uncomfortable bed. Very clean and very convenient to the beach. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. If not for the bed, we would definitely be back.

Excellent stay.

Relaxing stay. Grewt for couples. Loved the view! Excellent guest service from the company managing the condo. They asked if we needed anything and we let them know something as simple as the toaster was broken and they had a new one delivered with in a few hours. Will stay here again!

Perfect Everything!

We were so impressed with this condo! Super close to the water and a very clean unit! Parking was a breeze and we loved the cool, refreshing pool at the end of the day. We are used to having a washer/dryer in the condos we rent so we weren’t sure about not having that but this unit had 2 of each located just outside our front door. We never had an issue with their availability. The water in the shower was always hot and the air conditioning was cold. We loved having the free beach service each day… it saved us $250! Over and over, my husband and I both agreed that we would definitely come back to this condo again. We loved the location… close enough to Destin for good food and entertainment, but far enough away to avoid the crowded beaches. The beach right in front of our condo was perfect. Family friendly and not crowded at all, considering it was peak season. To the right and left of us, we could see the beach was much more crowded in front of the larger complexes. Literally, the only thing we didn’t have that we wished we had, was a keurig. We bought ground coffee and filters and it was just fine. Found some super places to eat nearby… Asiago Skillet was amazing and Stewby’s Seafood Shanty was delicious! Absolutely a perfect vacation for us!

Great condo and location

We chose this condo for its proximity to beach and was pleasantly surprised w how nice it was. Check in was very easy and we were able to check in early. Fully furnished kitchen made making meals convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location & space!

Island Surf #5 was a nice condo on the 2nd floor with lots of windows and a balcony that all face the ocean. Great views! The condo was bright and up to date and is a great space for 2 people. While there were plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils, some pots and pans, serving bowls, etc., the only "food" item was a small shaker of pepper. Also, having driven several hours to get there we would have appreciated having ice in the freezer. The ice maker ended up making ice fairly quickly. This building has only 6 units, and the adjacent bldg has 5, both with 2 floors and stair access only to the 2nd floor. There is direct access to the gorgeous beach from the grassy yard facing the beach, several steps over the dunes then right onto the beach. Island Surf condos pays for umbrellas and nice lounge chairs to be set up daily on the beach. That was a nice perk. I rated it lower on communication and check in because I emailed a question several days before arriving and never got an answer. We did register 6 days before arriving but never got the details of how to access the unit. The day of arrival as we were driving I was able to fortunately find a number on the site and grateful someone answered and was able to send me the details. Overall, it was a good, fun, relaxing time there.

Perfect Beachfront Condo!!

This was the second time staying at Island Surf #5 and fell in love with it all over again. You won’t find another beachfront condo quite like this one. The whole complex only houses 11 units and it’s absolutely wonderful unlike staying in a huge complex with hundreds of units. The beach is literally steps away. My one and only complaint would be the king bed could be replaced as it is fairly hard and uncomfortable. But even so, I would still choose this condo over any other any day. We’ve never had any problems and will be coming back every year!

Great condo

Husband and I stayed for 4 days and it was exactly what we wanted. Awesome view of the ocean, just down the stairs to the beach, at the end of the road, so not tons of traffic. Publix was close by so we grabbed groceries and mainly ate in. Important to note that, while, there are pots, pans, utensils, and plates, we had to buy oil, salt & pepper, etc. Would stay again.

Small and cute!

My husband and I flew to FWB for a quick 3 day lidless vacation and this place was awesome! Clean, and small, and decently cheap! We weren't sure what to expect for the price I got this place for- but it beat our expectations! It's a small unit of condos and it is right on the beach. Not crowded or loud, but still family friendly. We will surely use this condo in the future!

Amazing experience

If you're looking for a small, low key place to stay on the beach, this is it! The beach is beautiful and so close to the room. The room was perfect for our needs (family of 4). It was clean, well appointed and had everything that we needed. The location is away from the crowds. This is the place to be if you really want to enjoy the beach and stay away from the tourist traps.
