This condo was simply lovely! Clean and modern, the view from the balcony was stunning, and it had all the comforts of home. The host was just wonderful and ensured that I had everything I needed to have an awesome vacation. They literally thought of everything! The entire complex is meticulously maintained and the easy access to the beach is a huge plus. The beach itself is gorgeous! White sand and crystal blue/green water. I will definitely rent this unit again for future trips. If you want to see Ft. Walton Beach, this is the place to stay!!

Just got back from a week stay for fall break. The room is absolutely perfect. The view of the beach from the balcony is awesome for morning coffee and breakfast before heading to the beach. The agent Chris was super responsive to messages and extremely helpful. Will definitely book this place again when we go back.

We had a beautiful view of the beach and pool from this unit ! The room was very neat and clean, very nice room ! The host was easy to reach and responded quickly. The pools and the lazy river were a blast !! We will definitely visit again !!!

The condo was so clean and spacious! I loved the convenience of the parking garage to the room. The beds were very comfortable. The pools and lazy river at the resort were kept very clean and we just loved everything about our stay! We would love to stay again in the future!

We loved this area walking distance to the pier na the boardwalk shops/restaurants it had a Publix close by for easy access to food for the week. The room was so nice and clean the mattress were comfortable all the pools were great we had the best week!

This was the perfect location and setup for our teens/young adults traveling with us! Immediate access to the beach and beautiful condo. So clean and everything was just as I anticipated from the description Absolutely no problems at all! Property manager communicated with me immediately before we traveled with all my questions answered perfectly. Highly recommend and we would book again for sure !

Very nice unit in a great location in the resort. Amazing view, very comfortable and conveniently located to the parking garage. Currently lots of construction and traffic in the area but that will change eventually. Lots of great restaurants close to the resort. Pools and resort very clean.

Nice Condo
We overall had a wonderful stay. I believe the condo was in a great location and the beach access was nice. My one and only complaint is the cleanliness of the condo, especially the floors. The floors were gritty, likely from sand. This is somewhat understandable because the property is beach front. However, the floors need a deep clean beyond the sand. The bottoms of my daughters feet where black from walking barefoot on the floor for less than an hour which indicates the floors are in need of a deep cleaning. We all kept on slippers throughout the duration of our stay to afford making contact with the floor. This is a super easy fix for the management company and shouldnât detour anyone from choosing to stay at the property as we overall truly enjoyed our stay.

Softball Tournaments, Vacation, Fishing Trip
We loved this property and would definitely stay there again. The property manager (Chris) was great and easy to work with. The condo was nice and clean, and had plenty of room. And a short drive, to the softball fields, and everything. Also, walking distance to restaurants and family fun activities. We even stayed an extra night, called Chris, and took care of that with ease. Another plus, when u parked your car in the parking garage, the front door to your condo, was right there. Just a few steps, no long walk. The pools, the beach, the views, and location were excellent. They even have a grilling area, which we took advantage of. Perfect for our family!!!

Great stay, family friendly
Our accommodations were great! The place is super family friendly. We stayed gulf side and our room was more spacious than I thought it would be from the pictures. Everything was clean, with the exception of the floors could use a good scrub. Nice, big pools and beautiful landscaping. Quick walk to the bayside for the lazy river and more pools. Quick and easy access to the beach! Pier within walking distance is nice. Lots of marine life to see from there. Management was helpful, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with. Rent the chairs with premium seating for the week if you plan to sit out on the beach, worth it.

Perfect Vacation
This location is fabulous! Close to everything! We had a great stay! The view is beautiful and the parking is very close to the room! Very simple walk to the beach and the pool! The condo is very spacious and has nice size bathrooms. The balcony is much bigger in person!! We will be booking here next year! :)

Nice place
Overall our stay was good. It was comfortable and had what we needed. We misunderstood and thought it came with a beach umbrella and chair. We had to purchase that separate from all of the other cost.
The host(s) were very prompt replying to my questions and messages.
The tv's had issues with cable connections. Things weren't connected correctly, too many people messing with it in my opinion. My husband and brother-in-law were able to fix it.
The floors are dirty! I know there is sand tracked in constantly, but the cleaning crew needs to steam mop the floors. As soon as we got there and walked across the floor bare footed, our feet were dirty. I wore flip flops constantly after day one. There was a Swiffer wet jet in the closet (we didn't use it). I assume that is all the cleaning people use on the floors. It isn't enough.
With all of this said, nothing was a deal breaker. We were comfortable and had what we needed to enjoy our week at the beach.

Family trip and beach wedding
Wonderful in every way. The only reason I gave an overall rating of 4 stars is because a few electrical outlets didnât work and the ceiling light in one of the bedrooms didnât work. I didnât reach out for service from the owner because we were able to make do just fine. I only mention it to make the owner aware in case theyâd like to address the problem. Otherwise, would highly recommend this condo.

Great location and property
We love the Destin West resort. This property was perfect for our family. The resort is very clean and kid friendly. You can walk to the boardwalk and pier. The beach is great. We will be back!

Nice but needs work
We opted for this condo because it fit our needs room wise, it was a bit more expensive but it appeared nicer than others we had looked at. We did discover that the master bed was full of sand so it was obviously not changed. Lots of the decor in the room was broken. The toilet paper holder in secondary bathroom looks like itâs been broken for quite some time. Upper bunk didnât have all the sheets needed. Dishwasher wanted to fall forward to to missing counter screws. Pillows looked about 10 yrs old, brown and yellow. Lots of extra pillows in closet but no pillow cases for them provided. Phone chargers fell out of pretty much all the outlets. They did come and provide extra linens when mentioned we needed them but not until the next morning. TVs in all rooms but not all of them worked. So other than all of that our stay was fine. I feel a little more attention to detail for the cost would have been a better stay, or lower price. I did expect it to be much nicer.

Best Pier for viewing wildlife
Four adults and one child vacationed in 414 DWGS.
We enjoyed the pool and ocean view from our balcony.
It was my grand niece's first ocean visit and she thought we should stay forever.
We loved the pier and did the walk twice. Great seeing all the sharks, dolphins, and sea turtles, as well as all the friendly fishermen who kindly share their catch for a four year old to enjoy.
My husband has to use a walker and numerous people offered assistance in getting him into the pool and out. Sometimes, he would sit on a chair and I couldn't get him back up by myself, someone always stopped and offered assistance. I was also able to rearrange the furniture in the living room to accommodate his walker and the loveseat in front of the patio door so he could see the ocean and still be in AC.
My niece and grand niece loved the cannonball man and the four o'clock jump.

Perfect Family Getaway at Destin Emerald Coast
Great, spacious condo for a family getaway at the Emerald Coast. Walking distance to the beach and access to multiple pools (including lazy river), car parking garage and small fitness gym (a bit dated but meet the need). Easy check in/out. All in the family enjoyed (seniors, toddlers and adults included). Thank you for the memories.

Destin West Nice!
Our stay at The Destin West was very nice and was a convenient location. We could walk to eat and activities. Loved the bay side and the gulf side options. Would be nice if more pools were heated during Springtime. Room had all required necessities and management was quick to respond to any questions/issues.
