Older hotel, but clean. Friendly staff. Typical breakfast - eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles. Chain restaurants in the area. Not much to do in the area. Ft. Wayne is approx 35 miles away - lots to do there. We'll stay at this hotel again when traveling

The shower curtain rod prevents the curtains from closing all the way so water gets outside the shower, and our fridge/microwave was off. Staff was wonderful at coming right in and fixing the fridge and was friendly.

I liked that my towels were refilled daily even tho they noted rooms would only be serviced every 3 days. I didn’t like my floor not being vacuumed. Something was tracked in on the carpet and stayed the duration of my 4 night stay. Overall a good hotel that’s showing some age. Yet we’ll staffed.

Hotels.com booked me 2 rooms. I only booked 1 and only got 1 confirmation number. The staff at check-in was very helpful with this. The hotel is a bit dated, the hallway had a big need of vacuuming (it was a later arrival), and the elevator inspection expired in March-which showed because the elevator tried to lift without the doors being shut. There were a few "wiry" hairs on the tub on arrival. Also if it rains, there is a loud drip from the rain pipes outside if you are in a room at the rear of the building (all night)-those night need cleaning out. Everything else was fine.

Everything was clean and in good repair. Desk employees were prompt and kind. Beds and linens were SOOOO comfy. Pool was fun. Only disappointment was that there was no hot tub, as the picture on the website for this particular location showed. I planned to relax in it while the kids swam. Loved how close it is to everything and will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town visiting my best friend.

The facility had a very musty odour to it. They was also people haning out in the parking lot till late hours of the night. Felt kind of getto.

Exceeded my expectations
Check-in was efficient and much appreciated since we were a little before the official 3:00 time. Room (200) was large and quiet. I always appreciate when there is a constant fan option on the A/C. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast will not win any awards, but it was fine and the service was great. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Our room had a hole in the floor. I stepped in it and felt like I was going to go through to the 1st floor. I stepped in it again later in the dark and almost twisted my ankle. Someone should really look into that. Other than that, no complaints. Staff was friendly and courteous. The building was clean both in and out. The room was also clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

I picked this hotel because out of the few in the area available. This one had the best ratings.which is why I’m coming on here to leave A review. Our two rooms were not great. The one bed I was not sure if the sheets were clean or not and the bath tub was OK but not great and the other room the headboard was disgusting,it was very dirty …other than this the rooms were clean …the swimming pool was very clean and nice and the bathrooms by the swimming pool were clean and nice, the lobby was clean, the breakfast area was awful. It was not clean they did not keep it stocked.

Needs a bit of work
Easy to find, quiet room with mini fridge and microwave. The king bed had the unfortunately too common sag on the sides but otherwise was comfortable. The bathroom could use some work, with an outdated shower, a poorly working toilet, and a poorly patched ceiling repair. I had to leave too early to have breakfast (a Saturday morning) but did use the computer and printer, which was very helpful.

This is located on the main bypass road in Huntington with a number of restaurants nearby. The places downtown which was about one mile away were better. And are a better choice for breakfast.

This property was clean, comfortable, and provided a nice environment. Felt safe. Breakfast choices were a bit limited and the toilet in the bathroom did have trouble flushing but everything else was wonderful!

This is a nice property but we got the wrong room. First we noticed there was about 1/8 roll of TP in the room and when I called the desk the young man told me that I could come pick up a roll rather than running it up himself. While I was downstairs I looked into the pool/spa room which was dark an hour and 15 minutes before it closed and the kid told me that the lights "blew" and he couldn't reset them. (The pool was fine the next AM) Not until all was quiet and we tried to get some sleep did we notice that the toilet was constantly running with a weird gurgle occasionally mixed in. Let's just say that it was not a restful night. Like I said, it was a nice clean property but I got the worst side of it.

Friendly staff; hotel in need of repairs
The service was fantastic! Staff were friendly and helpful on a busy weekend and even granted us a late checkout. The hotel is older and in need of some repairs and upkeep. Our toilet was broken and the shower low-key screamed the whole time it was running. The bed was hard and quite uncomfortable. But the breakfast was very good and the staff was fantastic.

Staff was pleasant. We did however have to plunge our own toilet. The bathroom needed some TLC. Clogged drains and broken shower rod were an issue.
