We had a lovely time at Hillview Guest House. It’s right across from the Loch and has the most gorgeous views. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a great breakfast offering and gracious hosts. Will come back if we get the chance.

Hi Kimberly ,Thank you for your comments, we’re pleased you enjoyed your breakfast .As regards your room size comment ,All our room pictures are available for you to see before you make the reservation.As we are such an old cottage we are not able to make the rooms any larger .You did comment on how much luggage you had , (4 cases) maybe this didn’t help your space issue.I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

We stayed here having driven up from Devon for the 3 peaks challenge. It was a 10/10 stay. Jane was soooo helpful and accommodating. The hotel is opposite the most beautiful stretch of water and Ben Nevis is a 10 minute drive up the road. We had a joining room with a shared bathroom between us and it worked perfectly. We were up and out so early the following morning, however, Jane packed us off on our adventure with an on-the-go breakfast- such a lovely touch. Beautiful guest house, great hosts, amazing views! What more could you ask for! We will be back!

Joe and Jane were fantastic hosts. Very personable, and we enjoyed our chats. Very impressive breakfast spread, and pancakes and bacon on top of everything else. Would absolutely recommend for others, or to stay again ourselves.

Ben Nevis Stay
Great stay. Jane and Joe made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we would have no hesitation in doing so if we're ever back in the area but not to climb Ben Nevis again!

A lovely weekend stay
We had a fabulous stay at Hill View recently. I’ve never stayed in a guest house as clean and well looked after. The hosts work very hard to deliver an excellent service for guests. A very enjoyable stay and would recommend to others without hesitation.

The room was clean warm and cosy. Facilities were available to make hot drinks. It had a great view of the loch and mountain. Breakfast was great including a vegetarian choice. The only downside was the busy road outside the bedroom which was noisy. Overall experience was good.

Amazing find in Fort William
The guest house was fabulous, so clean and the owners so lovely and accommodating, breakfast was amazing so much choice. Views from the guest house are spectacular. Our rooms (a family suite) were super clean and very modern. Would definitely visit again. One tip, if you are walking back after dark from Fort William take a torch the street lights only go so far and it is very dark! Using our phones as a torch helped but a proper torch would have been easier!

This property was excellent, the views amazing. Lovely room, everywhere was clean. Breakfast was lovely plenty to choose from hot and cold. The owners were so lovely, so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Always on hand if you needed them.

Exceptional guest house in great location.
Wonderful, welcoming, guest house that was the perfect base for our stay in Fort William and climb of Ben Nevis. Lovely room, great view of the loch and surrounding mountains. Charming host, great breakfast, everything we wanted and more.

Just a few minutes drive from the centre of Fort William, with amazing views across the loch, Hillview was a perfect base for my daughter and I to explore the west highlands for a few days. We received a friendly welcome, the rooms are clean and adequately furnished. Breakfast is pre ordered the night before (if you want anything cooked) with fruit, cereals and toast, and is great. In summary, Hillview is a small, friendly place to stopover and explore this amazing part of Scotland. Recommended.

Couldn’t ask for more
Firstly the location of the property is beautiful, views onto to loch and mountain scenery are something else. Even better you get these views from the rooms and in the breakfast room. The rest of the house is wonderfully clean and tidy and filled with fresh flowers. The spacious bedrooms are decorated beautifully and have a real homely touch to them. You have all you need in the room, from hot drinks, usb points, shampoo/conditioner, television, hairdryer and fluffy white towels. The breakfast was fantastically made which include hot foods, as well as a help yourself to cereals, juices, pastry’s etc. The breakfast tables were set and decorated with little fresh flowers for an extra touch. Last but not least Jane and Joe, a wonderful couple who couldn’t do enough for us. It is very obvious how much care and and how much detail they put into their guesthouse. I wouldn’t recommend anyone or anywhere else! Thank you And don’t forget to book direct!

A little gem
Accommodation was clean, modern and comfortable. Jane and joe made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was fab. They accomodated our early start on the Saturday morning and nothing was too much trouble. The view from our bedroom was priceless. Would definitely recommend staying at this place as you won’t be disappointed.

The owners were very accommodating, making us feel welcome. The breakfast was lovely with a good choice each morning. Our room was clean and towels were changed daily and bed made each morning. Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Good 1 night stay
Clean bathroom and room with an amazing view. The host was really nice and welcoming although we arrived bit late (around 9pm) Free parking and breakfast.
