Our base for great adventures.

This quiet spot has such a beautiful view right out the bedroom window, and being directly on the water we had access to the walking path, the local shops, and an easy drive into Fort Willliam. I really liked being across the bay and being able to see Fort William from my window. The sounds of the sea birds were beautiful. We even got to learn about the game of Shinty, and see it played. That was a treat for us. In the apartment, we could be together or apart. The kitchen had all we needed and the living/dining room were just right for up to 4 people. It WAS unseasonably warm in June. We had to buy some fans to stay cool at night. It would have been great if the unit had 2-3 fans to keep us more comfortable. Also the clothes washer does have a built in dryer. It only holds 2 -3 outfits but we could wash daily. That was nice. But being from America, it was confusing on how to work the dryer function. We finally figured it out, but some step by step instructions from the host would have been better. Overall this has been one of our favorite VRBO's in over 10 year years of using them. Thank you!

Property newly appointed with everything we would want. Superb setting on the water. Very responsive support from the agency and the owner. Excellent value for money. The town of Caol is mainly suburban. Served by buses half hourly. Not convenient to walk into Fort William. Best if you have a car—which is also true for getting to the glens for walking.
