Maten som serveras var av hög klass och priserna inte allt för dyra. Det enda negativa var tiderna för poolen med barn 2 timmar pĂ„ morgonen och 2 timmar pĂ„ eftermiddagen.â
âWe loved the view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. âThe facilities are immaculate. The location is about a 10 minute walk to town center which is not a problem if you are able to walk. We had a car and the parking was perfect. Cara does a wonderful job of keeping in touch with you. We had the double room and if you have large luggage it could be a little tight but we only brought in what we could need for the night. âThe property was in a perfect place on the beach, quiet and luxurious on the inside. The pool and jaccuzi were a nice addition, both very warm. âVery nice hotel catering to everyone. They have banquets in adjacent facilities, they have workers and business people, combined with older couples.
Great restaurant down stairs and a gym next door.
Rooms might starting to see some aging, but comfy beds and pillows and it is very nice and clean.

âBeautiful classic old farmhouse property nicely renovated and updated into a wedding destination and B&B. Our large room was spectacular with vaulted ceilings and an antique poster bed. Wonderful antique furniture and decor, but with a modern bathroom. Lovely farmhouse setting with donkeys in a paddock and fruit trees in the backyard. Although we had to leave early, we saw the spectacular breakfast spread. Woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.â

Must be European thing but no wash clothes in bathroom but none of my hotels have had them.
One downside is although there is off site parking it is a difficult parking lot.

"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they canât do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. Itâs absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath oneâs back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
