âI wish we'd had longer because the room was super nice and the bed was SO comfortable. We even managed to get a good cup of coffee out of the little coffee pod machine in the room. We all know those machines never make a good cup of coffee but I swear this one did. Very quiet, even with Sturgis in town. â

âMycket rent, sköna sĂ€ngar och rymligt rum. NĂ€ra centrum. Trevlig personal i receptionen. Minus var att handfatet var placerat utanför toaletten samt högljudd AC. Litet frukostutbud, ganska trĂ„ngt i frukostrummet. â
âHotellet ligger utanför sjĂ€lva Rapid City, i en lugnt miljö. Vi fick en tvĂ„rummare av mycket hög kvalitet, körde in till centrum (5 minuter) pĂ„ eftermiddagen och njöt av hotellets aktivitetsrum pĂ„ kvĂ€llen. â

âVackert marmorgolv i med mönster av indianfjĂ€drar vid dörrarna, och presidenterna vid Mount Rushmore. Tapet med karta över Rapid City med omgivning pĂ„ ena vĂ€ggen. Bastolar med ryggstöd i formen av kaffekopp. BlĂ„ skjutdörr till badrummet, vilket var vackert och praktiskt. Ett stort plus för klockradio och en voucher pĂ„ $15 att utnyttja pĂ„ hotellet. Bagagevagnar vid hissen. Live music i baren. Underbar utsikt frĂ„n vĂ„ning 7. Personalen trevlig, men vi behövde inte deras tjĂ€nster speciellt mycket....
âThe hotel was Not even the problem. Expedia was the worst. Its Sturgis time and itâs already very busy in this area. We booked rooms for our drive back home and we got here at 8:15pm and walked into a lobby with 3 other groups trying to check in through expedia reservations and not one reservation was in the susatem. I felt terrible for the desk staff. She was taking calls from expedia, dealing with customers, and still trying to remain calm. I was put on hold for 10 minutes so the expedia agent...

âGreat location. Historic charm and architecture with modern updates throughout. Very nice fitness center. Clean and comfy. The multi level rooftop bar was perfect for enjoying a cocktail and taking in the sights. Fun Irish pub downstairs with outdoor seating and good service. â
âProfessional attitude of all staff. Except dining room person on Sunday morning. She was by herself and had a snooty attitude when asked if we could order off the menu versus the buffet. â
âWe loved every minute of our stay! Rooms were beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly and outgoing. Would definitely recommend to others!!â
âAs Grandparents, we took 3 of our children's families to Mt. Rushmore area and found this to be a great hotel in a great section of town. The kids absolutely loved the slide and pool and the hot tub was great!â
âCanyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.â
âOne night we had trouble with the wifi in our room so I went down to the front desk and the young girl helped me out and called wifi support right away and they where able to reboot it quickly in about 5 minutes and it worked perfectly the rest of the trip. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed or asked for. â
