âSanta Barbara has a lot of sights to see and experience, but Simpson House Inn takes the price as being the best! Rooms, common areas and the grounds are immaculate and simply needs to be experienced. Staff is top notch! As a guest it almost feel as you have the place to yourself as guests are spread out among the different furniture groups spread around the property. In addition there are small ripple fountains that gives a peaceful feeling whenever you are outside, as if you were in a serene...
âAbsolutely loved everything about this property!! Was expecting coffee and breakfast ( no charge ) like the other Pali property Iâve stayed in but this property doesnât offer that. No big deal but a free coffee station maybe in bar area would have been nice. â

âLovely property. Quiet neighborhood, yet close to State Street, shops, restaurants, wharf, etc. Our room was well appointed, and beds were very comfortable. We also had washer/dryer and kitchen which made our stay convenient. And we loved the rooftop seating! Only slight complaint is that living room furniture was not very comfortable for our movie night (couch and chairs are small, don't have headrests and are not oriented toward TV). But we made it work. We enjoyed our stay!â

âThis is a beautifully renovated older home turned into a BNB. Every detail has been preserved or highlighted with marble detailed bathrooms, modern cozy furniture and kitchens that I am truly envious of versus my own:). It is a BNB so some may not like the shared kitchen but in that case, reserve the Lotus Suite! We stayed in both the Lotus Suite and the Granada. I can't wait to come again! â

âNewly revamped. The lobby is chic SoCal style and the rooms are super cozy. It felt like a boutique hotel in the center of SB at State street. Short walk to the beach. A+! â
âLoved the friendliness of the staff. Bed was comfy and private enough. Breakfast was nice -real eggs and pancakes. and they had a bbq dinner in the evening. Centrally located to downtown sb. I was nervous because i had never stayed at a hostel before but it was better then expected. My only complaint is that the ice machine wasnt workingâ

âI got a newly updated suite overlooking the pool, still smelled of new paint. Great bed and comfy pillows. Good parking. Last evening a family with loud kids moved in next door and were louder than acceptable, and being an older building the rooms are not soundproof unfortunately.â

The only minor âproblemâ I can think about is the TV in the room. Itâs a huge new flatscreen, but only with Netflix, no cable. â
